I thought the Undertaker was MAD boring during 1998-1999. He golden runs were 1990-1993, 2000-2002. I am so happy he had a NEW look.

New look? His "new look" is basically the american badass look without the "deadman inc" writing on his trouser legs. The only thing "new" about this is the cowboy hat, as the american badass look originally started out with him wearing a trenchcoat.

I think it's more realistic that he's dead and is still the American Badass look(kind of) as it's what he would of been wearing(kind of), when he died.
But it would have been cool to have seen 'old skool' Undertaker.

The Tool has done some stupid things
I like the new look. Yeah, they could have went back and recreated the mortician dead man. It would have been much better for the one night of wrestlemania i suppose. However, where would you take that character after wrestlemania? It just wouldn't fit into the current day wwe. You would have people whining, hes too slow, hes boring, he doesn't sell and lay down for my favourite cruiserweight, blah blah blah. I think they recreated the deadman gimmick the best they could, with a little originality. That is just my opinion though.

Well, where exactly is he going without it?

He's still slow, he's still boring. He still doesn't fit in with the modern day because he did "rise from the grave," and all that shit.

Right

This is my main problem with the whole thing. The lead up to Mania, led everyone to believe that Taker was coming back as either the grey/purple glove Taker or the evil satanic Taker form 99. Neither came back. The character that came back was the same guy who left, only now as was said "he's got a new hat" and he's no longer selling.

The look aside, even his entrance was weak. Maybe I was expecting too much, but when I got to MSG and I seen the stage set up, I thought 'thats odd', and then I figured it was put so they could do a really cool entrance for Taker. But all they did was rehash the deal from Mania XIV, which was cool at the time, but I expected a lot more.

I was in the arena, and the crowd was going crazy for Taker's return, and he got a great pop coming out and he got another good pop for winning, but I felt that a lot of people went flat after seeing him come out, because he looked pretty much the same as when he left.

Yeah. I cringed with Paul Bearer's voice, I saw the entrance, which was pretty cool, right til we got up to the Biker with a fedora.

as far as him being boring, that is all a matter of opinion. i find cruiserweights to be boring. they go beyond fullspeed and miss so many spots it is rediculous. yet, i can see why some like it, even if i don't. in the same regards, i'll never find taker boring.

I really like the new mixture of "Badass" and "Deadman." What's wrong with getting the best of both worlds? As long as he has Paul Bearer and the Urn, what's not to like? Music - Check, Urn - Check, Paul Bearer - Check, Taunts and moves - Check. Don't go all queer eye on WWE people. OMG he wore a cowboy hat! Seriously folks, back in the 1990s, did he not wear a top hat? Its not that big of a change! yeah, it did take some getting used to at first, but you'll get over it, don't worry.

Ok i agreed at first that Undertakers new look was gay..but if you think about it...a Biker will rise again as still looking partially like a Biker..and eventually he will grow more into his older self like he usually does..but in most words i was kinda hoping his hair wouldnt be short as it used to be...he needs to grow that back out..and i liked the biker/dead look of the fact that a Biker will rise from the dead....but the bandana went to far...and he needs to at least drop that...but hey...the tombstone and eyes are back...woot

I have stopped watching wrestling ever since the draft between raw and smackdown took place, but when i heard the undertaker was going to come back as the deadman, i had to see it, because the whole badass gimmick sucked when it started. Once i saw Paul Bearer, i had an idea taker was going to wear the hat. Though, when i saw him appear on the ramp, my reaction was "Umm, wat is that ?" all they had to do was make the old costume again. I was even more disappointed when he fought. When he first started to punch kane, he fought as if he was still in the badass biker form cuz the old taker never fought like that. I only saw 2 characteristics of the old taker. When he walked the top ropes which kane blocked, and the tombstone. Oh ya, he rolled his eyes back. big woopy doo. major disappoint. I could have planned that better. too stupid to screw up and wwf (refuse to call them wwe) did just that. Thats why i stopped watching wrestling as a whole. They screw up too much.
