Maybe not. Most GameStop pre-order codes are generic codes input in the game to unlock them from the disc. Hopefully this will be the same and then the code will just be on the internet

Is it possible to get the dreamcast one to run on a computer? or any way to emulate it (xbox, xbox360, ps3) that would be perfect cause I got the thing to use your ps3 or 360 controler on vista and xp...

I want someone to put linux on my ps3 to see if I can run some old games like WWF superstars on the ps3(which apparently works) it would nice if Dreamcast games worked, I belive it was a 128bit system..... I could be wrong...

It's good but there are a couple of problems.

It's one face button per-limb with holding the left bumper to do strong attacks and left trigger to do jab attacks. Clinchings done with the stick but I'm not worked out what to do with them when they're clinched.

Commentary is excellent, they talk about previous fights that happened in real life and go into detail like that.

The big problem is there appears to be a stamina bar, but playing as Chuck lidell, there was no point me going in for grapples at all because I could just repeatedly hit Shogun Rhua in the face. He went on the deck a few times before the KO but I dunno how to mount yet so I just kicked him in the face some more

It might seem a lot better when I know WTF I'm doing, but right now it plays a bit like Tekken, which is weird.

Just worked out how to counter, right analogue stick. Up for head shots, back for body shots and down for leg shots. If I find out how to mount, I'll know what the game's really like!

EDIT: and grapples. Just LB and the right stick forward, with quarter-circles to change position. Pushing in the right stick will go for a submission but there are special submissions done in a Street Fighter way. I'm not sure if the difficulty setting on the demo is low or not, but it's much easier to just knock them the fuck out instead of bothering with mounts right now.

I now can't get a submission to "stick". He was weak to shit because when he got out of it, one jab knocked him down.

I think overall, it plays a lot like an upgraded version of the Dreamcast one, just with 2 billion different mounts/defense combos, which is good

I also don't know how to stop a submission

lol, had a fight where my striking was on until he countered once then was going to make me submit, time ran out for the round, 2nd round came out with a spinning back fist and he was out cold

The animation seems to change depending on how close you are too, so it came out more like a spinning back elbow.

Also just found a tutorial after that fight, could help

EDIT: And difficulty. Lets see if the striking game is almighty now

^^ I tried it out and nothing happened the Demo loaded just fine. It's a good game as well I played through the demo a few times and really enjoyed it, looking forward to the full game coming out now.

Any chance any of you guys could give me a list of a few UFC Shows to check out btw? Had an interest in it for a while but never looked into it, I downloaded the latest one and am yet to watch it but would like to see what shows you guys consider to be the best to check out.

So it came out today and downloaded it, liking what I've played so far. Still haven't quite got the clinch game controls down properly, so just end up striking ALOT. Have so far seen some brutal knockouts, its shaping up to be rather good.

Demo was good. Couldn't figure out submission till I played the tutorial. Gonna rent first when it comes out and if it's really good then buy later.

Kinda confusing, but kinda fun. Feels like Fight Night in some respects. Have trouble with the grappling engine but striking is responsive. Me and my bro went a few matches (I had Ice Man, he had some guy he swore would tear me apart).

hings got slow on the ground game (cause we're confused as shit), but we traded some wild hits. I'll need more training with combat engine to see how crazy matches could get.
