I guess the best to me would have to be my favorites:
-Sharpshooter
-Diamond Cutter (RKO or as I call it the R U Lonely)
-Crippler Crossface
-Helms Vertibreaker
-Razors Edge
-Widows Peak
-Figure Four Leg Lock
-Harlem Hang Over or in WWE he called it the Houston Hang Over
-Nightmare from Helms Street (one of the best before Big Show stole it and ruined it)
-The One and Only
-Halo DDT

Worst:
-WORM
-Hurricane Choke Slam (Are we to believe that this does actuall damage)
-619
-Big Shows Final Cut (Better when Helms did it)
-People Elbow (Only good for the mark out part)
-and Dropkick or clotheline finisher

Best:
Swanton-when Jeff first did it before he crippled his body.
Stunner on Rock -Savior mentioned this. Rock would fly out of the ring from it, it always made me laugh.
Figure four -When Ric used it, you always stood and cheered.
Sharpshooter
Unpretter -I have no idea how they don't smash their faces in.
Rhyno's old turnbuckle/off the apron DDT
Awesome bomb
Old School 3D -before we got this watered down crap.
Diamond cutter
Walls of Jericho-Old school version where Jericho kneed you in the head
Angle slam

Worst:
Clothesline from hell
Any of Hardcore Holly's
Maven's Dropkick -It's only a damn dropkick!
Steph's slap
The pedigree -It's like being piledriven by some guy's nuts
Swol-The heart punch
Stink Face-it was funny for a week like 4 years ago.
Batista tiger bomb- could it be more vanilla?

When you think about it, the M. Claw really lost its effect when Foley became a face. He wouldn't make those hysterical, beserk, squealing sounds anymore. I mean if someone jabs their bare hand (he doesn't wear the protector anymore) in your mouth, you bite the bastard. He should have just stuck with the double underhook.

I agree with a lot of folks here saying that the Widow's Peak and the Unprettier are just nasty... love 'em. Always was a fan of the Rude Awakening as well.

As far as worst, I'll throw out a few from the past that weren't mentioned. Honky Tonk Man's "Shake, Rattle and Roll" swinging neckbreaker was not only weak, but whenever he got up to "Roll", the face would reverse it or break out. Also, I never liked the Garvin Stomp. I'm sure getting stomped would hurt, but it just looked stupid.

Now that I think about it, an honorable mention should be given to Raven for his DDT. Sure, it's just a DDT, but he actually made it look like it hurt. Kudos to him for making a modification on a basic move to make it his own.

Eh, some powerbomb finishers can be badass, but usually only in INdy or foreign fed. I love the miracle ectasy bomb ( Chokeslam into a powerbomb). Also, a properly executed black tiger bomb is nice. On a whole though, Powerbombs are better ends to a competitive match then they are as standard finishers.

The best finisher: Hard to tell. I might go with the Stunner because of its simplicity, but the Crossface and other submission finishers are pretty convincing.

The worst finisher? It would have to be the overly horrid "Finger Poke of Doom". Though, I guess it wasn't supposed to be a real finisher, it still sucked. "The Worm" is pretty bad, but Scotty really doesn't get a 3 count for it. It's kinda like The People's Elbow in that it's a way for Scotty to be an ass toward his opponent (the only way I saw Rock's People's Elbow is not so much as a serious finisher -- that's what the Rock Bottom is for -- but as Rock being an ass toward his opponent that he has time to showboat and embellish his elbow drop while mocking his opponent. That move has always cracked me up).... that "Wedgie" finisher sounds pretty horrid.

and SmackDown! PS2 game fans, that "Big Elbow Drop Pin" -- is a laaaaaaaaaaame finisher. Was that supposed to be a Rhodes elbow?

Gerard, I think DDT stands for Double Down Take as it takes both you and your opponent to the mat.

Anywho, best: Stunner
Pedigree
Rock Bottom
Vertebreaker (I had never seen it until I bought the "Ramped Up DVD, it's in Hurricane's TitanTron, he must have used it on HeAt)
Swanton Bomb (not the most effective, but a thing of beauty)
Shooting Star Press
Michinoku Driver

Worst: The Peoples Elbow
The Worm
The Slug
Road Dogg's Shake Rattle and Roll
Booker T Scissors Kick (purely because he does the whole % Time hand thing, dance and then run to the ropes)
FU
Ho Train (fair enough, the Pimp Drop was mainly used as a finisher, but the set up took too long)

D.D.T. is a pesticide used to kill insects....I think remember reading an interview in his pre-WWF days about how his character would look at every other wrestler as an insect, and he needed to spray them with the D.D.T.

I think Adrian Adonis used the D.D.T. before Jake came into the WWF..It was just called an inverted suplex..

DDT isn't just a pesticide, it's Dichloro-Diphenyl-Trichloroethane, the pesticide, a mother****in' rampage of a killer that's been banned since 1973. It's very, very effective in killing insects, but also pretty effective at killing a bunch of things. The shame of it is, in controlled doses, it's very effective and safe, yet the US won't use it in third world countries where thousands die every day of malaria.
