How come if a wrestler misses a dropkick on someone they roll around in pain on the mat? When they do hit it, don't they still land the same way on the mat.

How come when a wrestler is a face ( let`s say Triple H ) he`s tearing the house down, going against like 5 guys but once he becomes a heel he`s a fucking coward and can`t even beat a retard ( Eugene ) ?
