To be fair guys, I have trolled in the past, though not here. I didn't feel like arguing about my identity with a few idiots who insist on believing how great they are.

I was a huge wrestling nerd in my teens during the 90s, I was obsessed with Foley and ECW.

This thread confuses me. DeathtotheSwiss comes across as relatively eloquent. Yet, he likes deathmatches. This flies in the face of all other deathmatch fans I've ever seen in this - or any other - forum. He can form complete sentences and defend himself from criticism with wit (although references to '90s Webiquette are cliched at this point), yet... he acknowledges that enjoying the ICP on commentary is "fair enough?"

It's very interesting to have someone on the boards who actually can write well about a subject that is almost universally loathed on this board. I just hope he doesn't turn out to be another Sadistic. I llike reading threads that don't make me want to stab myself in the brain.

I honestly no longer enjoy deathmatch wrestling. I think it was more of a phase than anything. I hate CZW and light-tube matches for instance, but I still enjoy the matches I initially enjoyed when I was younger.

To me, hardcore is only as good as the guys in the ring. The only barbwire matches that I can watch and enjoy now are the ones between Foley and Funk and Sabu VS. Terry Funk at Born to be Wired. Good storytelling, in my opinion. I'm no Necrobutcher fan.

I can't promise that you'll like everything I have to say but, I'm too old and too responsible to act like a douchebag on the internet.

Honestly, if it's not fmw or ecw, then it's not worth watching. Big Japan has a couple of guys that know how to do it properly, but that's it.
