I'm glad they've finally made his character less 2 dimensional as I have always been impressed with his ring work. Although I'm not sure I'm digging the fact that they've put him up against the likes of Orton. This should have been done while he was feuding with Miz but at least it's a change as I've gotten tired of the same old bs on RAW.

Agreed. That mustache/hairstyle/lack of physique/repugnant attire isn't making him any more appealing. Plus, I like Festus.

I do love you, Afterlife, but I find it funny that you're talking about hairstyles, lack of physiques and repugnant attire as detriment to Primo -- and then praise Festus.

I do like Festus enough, I just don't like the gimmick, and it'd feel rushed if he came back, I think. Although, putting Primo in the match would also be too much a boost out of nowhere. Personally, I think I'd go with Randy Orton, Cody Rhodes, Ted DiBiase, The Miz & Sheamus vs. Kofi Kingston, MVP, Mark Henry, Evan Bourne & Jack Swagger -- with Jackie S. being the cool outsider of the group, and the faces not knowing if they can really depend on him. He can then go on a tear in the match, maybe even eliminating three guys (probably Sheamus, Rhodes & The Miz -- while Orton and DiBiase then do damage control).

Next week: I hope Rhodes & DiBiase call out Kofi Kingston, and say that what he did to Orton's car last week not only pissed Orton off, but it pissed them off, and they're going to make Kofi pay, because he is beneath Orton's attention. Kofi then comes out, and cuts another (hopefully) awesome promo about life in Ghana, and how Rhodes & DiBiase might be tremendous athletes and competitors, but if they want a fight, Kofi will out-fight them any day. He then takes out a crowbar, or something, and whacks them both down, then hits some awesome kicks on them, before hitting the SOS (Ranhei) on DiBiase. He then gets on the mic again and says he has a message DiBiase can deliver Orton, and punts Teddy in the head.

Would make Kofi look like a real bad-ass, in my opinion.

I just had the thought that they might be testing Primo a little bit. They obvious think he has talent, or else he wouldn't have been a champion for so long in his career. Also, he hasn't been future endeavoured yet. I wonder if they're just holding out on him a little bit to see if he has the attitude his brother has.

I don't believe I said Festus is sexy. I said I like him. He has the most unique gimmick I've seen in a long time, and the crowd loves it. He doesn't need to be a model; he's a mass of rage and momentum. His appearance actually adds to his character.

Primo has no character, and his look is crap.

The WWE are just so fucking stupid. Back in late 2007 when Cena was getting huge negative reactions....and was almost literally getting booed out of the building, the WWE decided to GO AWAY from that instead of cultivating that.

What happened instead, was that the WWE killed Cena's star power (i.e. started making him job more) so that the fans wouldn't be sick of him constantly winning and in effect, cheer him (even if it was on a lukewarm basis).

Just absolutely fucking stupid.
