Hmm...

Let's just say playing as Clark Kent would make more sense than playing as Bruce. Historically Batman notes that Bruce is the mask, doing good but ultimately a boring facet of his life. He nearly quit being Bruce Wayne on two serious occasions.

Although, mini-games based on philanthropy would be interesting. Especially if your dealings as Bruce Wayne affect Gotham's night life (say, donating money to a certain area will decrease crime, but raise it in another area).

Is there going to be more crawling around silently in air vents? I like the Batman AA, but it is kind of funny thinking a 230 lbs man wearing armour and loaded up with gadgets so he is probably closer to 250 can safely climb around in a 100 year old ventilation system without crashing through. On top of that being quiet in there while dragging that cape behind him.

High quality vents.

Besides if I can swing between the same gargoyles 5 or 6 times and cause the bad guys to forget about me, then they are too dumb to wonder what that noise in the vents is.

Their stupidity is intentional. Nobody wants 'human' enemies in single player, no matter how much they think they do. Reference CoD4's infamous difficult sections where one false move means a bullet to the head. Lord forbid the badguys shoot as well as the human player, huh?

Advanced and life-like AI is great, but nobody really wants the comp to go balls out and use common sense - that would be a terror. And BTW, the goons in AA do look up if you miss a batarang or hang around after a take-down. On Hard Mode anyway.

They do that on easy mode too. Also thanks for explaining it to all of us like we are idiot, captain obvious. Are you going to explain to us why the sky is blue or we need oxygen to breath as well?

We all fucking know that if they guys could look up and where not retarded the game wouldn't be fun. If the cape made a dragging sound when he was crawling around, then it would ruin half the game. If batman actaully tired like a normal human being he would never have gotten through the first challenge. We know that. Doesn't mean we can't bitch about it. Fuck tard.
