Nah what i am saying that you only need one of the compressed files to play it....not all 50. No piecing together at all.

What? You need all of the compressed files in order to extract it into a usable COMPLETE iso. Don't get what you are saying, because you DO need all of them. They all have a piece of the completed file. YOU don't piece anything together. It will do it when you extract it.

What is green stars, the ones where you had to find Luigi. I don't think you have to get those. You get the option to play as Luigi in some levels but all I've noticed is that it just lets you race against your ghost afterwards.

Green stars are optional, but I want to 100% the game. They only pop up after you get the original 120 stars, and beat Bowser a second time. They are basically hide-and-seek stars. And after you get all of them, you get access to the final galaxy.

242 stars in total from what I've heard. I'm at 177 or something.

Worst one so far was getting the comet metal on the Stone Cyclone thing. That or the purple coins on Rainbow Road.
