If Cena is legit taking some time off, he definitely should have lost here.

Guessing it has something to do with Brock tossing Cena around like a jabroni on SmackDown years ago. Cena was a "legit threat" a year later at Backlash. I guess it makes sense.

Either that, or they're just going to try to use Lesnar to breathe life into their main event because he won't be around long.

Not that it really matters much, but we have a weird triangle going on here as well. Brock beats Rock, Rock beats Cena, Cena beats Brock. Paper vs. Rock (whoa! that's fucking crazy, i didn't even mean to do that!!!!!!!!!!!!!) vs. Scissors at WM29 is now possible.

really enjoyed xtreme rules overall good ppv hard to come after mania but xr was nice

sheamus/bryan,punk/jericho and lesnar/cena were all great


all except ryback raping some 13 yearold boy lol

Overall, I enjoyed this show. Loved how Show/Rhodes ended. Sheamus/Bryan was wonderful. Punk/Jericho had all the elements of a great match. Lesnar/Cena was damn good, even if I was underwhelmed with it a bit.

Fucking brilliant PPV. Save HHH vs Taker, this was better than WrestleMania. Just an awesome show start to finish. Especially for a post WM, PPV. Did not see something like that coming.

Cena winning and his promo at the end were awesome. He can go away now and still have that aura of "I lost to Rock... but I happened to beat the legit fighter in a street fight."

The more this Cena stuff is playing out, the more I'm liking what they're doing. As that match went on, it just seemed uncool to boo Cena. Like... he's taking an ass whopping and bleeding like no one has done in years. What exactly are you dipshits booing? They're on the right path to endearing Cena to everyone and I like it.

The match was crazy. And followed two other ridiculously good matches. I really hope they can keep this up and put on stellar PPV cards consistently.

Oh yeah, and the Show/Rhodes ending was a PERFECT way to end the feud and give Cody the title back. Show got his WrestleMania moment in winning the title, now Rhodes has regained the title and Show just destroyed him in the process and the feud can end with Show looking badass and Cody being like "He fucked me up, I'm done with this guy". Great booking.

Almost forgot... Layla is the best overall diva since Trish and seeing her win the title was awesome.

First match in a year for the company and she performed everything more crisp than any other diva on the roster regularly does.

A few years ago, based on what I've seen.

Anyway, that main event was straight up awesome. Lesnar was an absolute monster, and I was flinching at some of his early shots; especially with Cena busted open immediately. Was shocked Cena won, and I'm not sure what to make of his promo after. Can't wait for tomorrow.

This is exactly right. Brock is going to be pissed he lost to Cena, and he's going to kill some little bitch. My guess is that Zack Ryder is the beloved who gets torn apart. Maybe even Santino Marella, which will take out a champion and could allow a little mid-card story with what they do there.

But yeah, sounds like an amazing PPV. Cena looks fucking good by winning, which is something a win for him has not done in a long time. In some ways, Cena needed to win here, it's just because it was Lesnar that we got fooled. Also, I think there's a least some of it in not letting Brock win his first WWE match because he didn't win his first UFC fight. It's the same reason TNA shouldn't put their World Heavyweight Title on people from the WWE who just waltz into their company. Intriguing decision, and all-round a really solid PPV.

The only thing I would have changed would have been to replace a Ryback squash with an Antonio Cesaro one. Not because I like Cesaro more than Ryback, but because I think it would have suited the PPV more. They could have played it off as Cesaro impressing Laurinaitis on SmackDown! and being given the shot, while the apparently babyface yet child-murdering Ryback continues to work his way up, perhaps making more RAW appearances.

HOLY SHIT at that botch over the top rope from Brock. Could have ended up very badly.

No problem with Cena winning. If he really is gone, Lesnar doesn't lose any steam as he still took "The Face of The WWE" out albeit in a losing effort and let's not forget that Cena used a chain to turn the momentum in his favour.

I would not mind a Brock Lesnar PATH OF RAGE!

he already sells more merchandise than anybody and has done for the last god knows how long, they don't need to "fix the boos". The people that are going to be behind him/buy his merch are already doing that in droves. Okay, I guess the problem I'm having is looking at this in context. The divided crowds led me to believe that Cena's merchandise has been falling.

Then again, nWo merchandise sold through the roof and they divided the crowd all over the fucking place.
