I was never a fan of the match for many reasons but overhyped and undersell was always a concern for me.

The more I think about the Christian thing the happier I am. Outside of Brock, Batista, Cena (no one actualy thought that did they??) or Punk I dont think theres a bigger get out there.

Hes HOF worthy, can still wrestle, former champion etc. Its a good get of a guy who by all accounts who will probably add backstage as well. While it didnt meet the hype generated by those other names people speculated on its still a fair piece of excitement they created without a bait and switch to burn the goodwill.

I do kind of wish it was Punk... but im not sure he would be good for them either.

I saw my sister earlier today and was hyping the explosion to be a huge deal. I said they killed Jon Moxley on PPV. I just got a text from her saying “ Sparklers and a firecracker is not an explosion”. I dunno, made me laugh.

They knew from the beginning they would hit the 30 minute mark. How you do that and still get the dud of a turd is beyond me.


I always hated WCW pyro. This was worse.




Other than that, the PPV was a damn good time.

Right, I never said they were supposed to be real bombs. I said if the plan was for a lot more pyro they would have advised the cameramen.

The point is that it lends to the theory that it was just badly produced, not that some of the pyro malfunctioned and it was really going to be bigger.
