Seriously, this was probably one of the lamest Rumbles ever. There were no defining 'moments' for me.

CM Punk getting on the mic inbetween entrants was awesome, only to be eliminated by none other than... Triple H.

It bugged me how Shawn Michaels 'couldn't believe' he'd been eliminated, yet everyone else just kinda shows some frustration and leaves. I guess this is me just hating the way DX are always in the spotlight though.

Apart from the main stars ie. Cena, DX etc, nobody was really in it for that long. Shelton Benjamin, Matt Hardy, Carlito and pretty much everyone else only lasted long enough to hit two or three big moves.

Edge returning was cool, but as someone said above the whole 'returning to win the Rumble' thing has been played out. Plus, in all honesty the way he won it was kinda lackluste. I mean nothing special happened he just kinda side-stepped Cena and that was the end of the match.

Overall, all Rumble's are generally fun, mostly due to the gimmick etc, but I don't think this one was very memorable and hasn't given me any special 'moments' to remember it by.

I think the whole Punk thing was awesome. Plus the Beth Pheonix entrance was pretty cool imo. Crowd was way into Punk and Beth. Combine that with the mega pop Edge got and the fact that he won, I don't really know how this Rumble could have been better.

My thoughts:

ECW Title match: Great opening match, good wrestling from both.

US title match: Good, glad this was on the card as it seemed it wouldn't be at one point.

wwe title match: Ok, shitty finish, don't think they could've done much better overall.

Womens title= Meh.

WHC Title match: Good, but too short, not sure what they'll do with Rey from here.

Rumble: Don't think i've seen such a fast Rumble before, too many eliminations too quickly but other than that it was good, great to see Edge back, Jericho should've won though and Edge win the title at EC,imo.

I ordered it last minute and was pretty underwhelmed by the Rumble.

TBH I felt there was a lack of suprise entrys. There such a big part of the Rumble IMO and Edge felt lacklustre to me.

I think I just dont get the hype over him. Never have.

Pretty lame Rumble. No memorable performances. Everyone was eliminated way too fast for that.

I like the winner though, so that's all good.

Perhaps he will waste, I mean use, his shot at Christian.

Lock Jaw and Dave Youell are both correct.

CM Punk and Edge are the only memorable things about this Rumble, I can't understand all the praise this Rumble has received.

Yeah it was pretty good. CM Punk was awesome and once HBK and Cena came in it got good. Edge got a HUGE pop and his win was cool. Other than that it wasn't anything that spectacular but still a fun ass Rumble. I just didn't like how people were being eliminated so quickly. I would put this behind 1992, 2001, 2002, 2004, 2005 and 2007 probably. 7TH BEST RUMBLE EVER!!!!!
