I get what you're saying, and that's both is, and isn't my problem.

I'm not saying you're doing this, so don't take it the wrong way. My problem though is people who act like someone doesn't "get" or "know how to play" a certain fighter just because they don't like it.

Street Fighter 4 for example. I'm not saying it's a bad game, but I don't enjoy it. My enjoyment level has little to do with how good I am at the game, or how much I practice. I'm just not a fan of it, it's not a game I enjoy. I have little doubt that I could practice more and get better, but getting better isn't going to make me enjoy the game more. Furthermore, it seems like a waste of my time to use what little time I do have to practice at a game I don't enjoy.

On the other hand, I enjoy the new MK a lot more. Practicing at it is more entertaining to me, and feels like a better use of my time.

So for me, it's not whether I "get" the game, it's whether I enjoy it. Sadly, people take themselves too seriously and assume that the two are related, which I find insanely obnoxious.

I understand you 100%, it's something I dealt with during CoD: MW. I simply don't like the design, and dudes figured I didn't 'get it'. So I played MW2 to lvl 60, having fantastic games on the way. Screwed with Blops a bit then left the series when I was reminded why I disliked it. But now people can't say 'Kalyx doesn't get it'. I understand that not everybody has the time to invest just to nullify an argument, though.

But I can tell the difference between dudes who leave a series due to tastes vs dudes who just hate losing. Night and day. And I deal with the latter quite often. I hate seeing lack of fighting spirit.

finally got a chance to do the challenge tower. really good stuff. only up to around 40 or so. some incredibly stupid ones tho, like press a certain button 5 times

DUUUUHHHHHHHH Just set the Iphone/Ipod where it never goes to sleep.

So...do you have to unlock (buy) a fatality in order to use it? I was doing tag ladder with Sektor and Cyrax, and for some reason couldn't do Cyrax's Babality. I see that it is an unlockable, but I also saw that Sektor had an unlockable, but I was able to do all of his fatalities (that I know of). Me confused

Nah, you just have to do it, and then it shows up in the move list.

I don't think you can block the last round for it to work though.

I think I may have blocked. I didn't know they kept requirements to be able to pull them off. So silly. Do you get the alternate outfits for beating the single player ladder, making those Kyrpt purchases useless?

Yeah, they kept the blocking requirement. I think it only counts if you actually block an attack though (so using block for a x ray combo or stronger special is okay.)

Yeah, you get the alternate when you beat single player ladder, and also the ability to pick the pallette swap for each costume. You can pick the palette swaps by hitting whatever button that lets you choose the costume, and then choosing the costume with start instead of the normal button.

I think I was wrong... It might just be in the final round you cant block. Theres so many times where I try and pull off the shao kahn one by doing the entire ladder and i cant do a babality in a latter round fight and it drives me nuts
