All that matters at the end of the season is who has the most W's and who wins the Superbowls. After that stupid ass shit like how tough your teams schedule was is irrelevant.

Colts have a good chance of being 7-0 when they play the Patriots. Man I really hope the Patriots man up and beat the Colts again. Would be great. Colts are real good this year though and the Patriots aren't as good as they have been. Should be interesting.

I really think other teams think the Colts offense is struggling. I doubt that will be the case with the Pats, but people are gunna realise real soon that if they arent dropping 7 back, we'll be throwing over there heads and if they are dropping 7 back, we'll run it down there throats and play ball controll.
Thats the key difference of Indy this year. Last year they lacked patience. In that New England game when you guys were dropping 7 back for most of the game, Manning tried to force the issue. Instead of taking what we were giving and running it down your throars, which we actually did in the first game of the season. Well now teams are basically doing the same thing New England did in the playoffs and the Colts are exercising a little patience and running the ball almost 60% of the time. Sure the games are a little closer, but only because thats what teams are giving us. If they try to stop the run, they will get burned. Theres no question. So the real question on November 7th will be whether or not New Englands front 4 can stop the run, because if they cant then its gunna be a long night. ( VEL will take this as a insult and call me an idiot ) |

And i'm not sure what answer New England's O-line will have for the Colts front 4 ( who might be the best in the league by then ).
Corey Simon is a monster and once he's in perfect game shape theres no telling what he could do. Freeney and Mathis are probably the fastest outside rushers in the league. We have so much depth there too. Brock, Triplett, Raegor. One thing San Fransico did really well was they ran alot of draw plays, but eventually the Dline got to Smith reguardless and the Colts stopped the run when they had to. Frank Gore isnt Corey Dillon, but i think Gores running style is alot more suited for draw plays. I think Dillon is a little more of a tweener. I'm not sure the Pats can get away with drawn play after draw play. Thats all the 49ers did too. Screen plays ( which New England are really good at ) could kill Indy's speed, but giving the fact that Indy has a bye week before the game, there should be no excuse not to be ready for those. This game will be special. |

So, Tedy Bruschi has been practicing with the Patriots for 1-2 weeks. He can't do drills, since he's on the PUP list.
If he comes back strong that's huge, I just don't know if he really should. 3 rings, money, family... should he risk it? The argument being talked about is the Doctors told him there was no more risk by playing football then their is walking down the street, if he's going to have an issue it will happen no matter what. There word is, he's going to need some waiver or huge insurance policy to play. I dunno, gives me Reggie Lewis flashbacks, but in his case he was told NOT to play, and his wife kept shopping till they found a doctor that said he could. |

That Minnesota thing sounds pretty funny. I mean, what I gather is that there was a bunch of big football players getting public blow jobs and lap dances on a boat in Lake Minnetonka. I mean, its retarded, but the event in itself is almost comical.

I dunno about kicking the PAT when there's like 15 seconds left and you're in a position to win with a 2 pointer. I understand not wanting to lose but come on.

This Miami/Tampa Bay game's been pretty crap for the most part. So many incomplete passes and flags. It picked up a bit in the 3rd quarter though. Hopefully the Buffalo/Jets game will be more entertaining.

Wow our pass defense is so bad, like I already knew that but we are fucked cause teams can just exploit it every week. We made some good offensive plays down the stretch but way too many TO's and no points off all of Dallas' TO's will lose you the game.

Fucking Saints got screwed.
LOL. Jacksonville beat a Ben/Hines/Duceless Steelers team in OT. Tommy Maddox is pretty shittacular. All he has to do is hold on to the ball and it is over. |

The defense is what kept them in the game this week. Totally different from last four weeks.
Pretty obvious they were gonna lose though, they are like 3-25 coming off bye weeks or something. The same thing happened last year and then we went on a 7 game losing streak. |

The refs in San Antonio seem to be Falcon fans.. THREE horrible calls that lead to 17 points..
-pass interference that took away an INT -not calling pushing off on the blocked field goal when he obviously used the lineman's backs -that bullshit holding call on the last field goal First two lead to 14 points, last one lead to a field goal for the win.. I'm writing a letter.. Who Dat?? |

kickass games today. I could only keep up with the cowboys/Giants and Lions/Panthers. Cowboys almost gave that game away after pretty much dominating on offense.
And Harrington has like no arm strength. |

I'll admit, I was trying to look past the Giants' 3-13 after bye weeks stat...but then just watching everything go wrong, I had a bad feeling.
I'm just glad it went into overtime and that they at least made a game out of it. Still 3-2 heading back home against Denver. Eli may have come back to Earth this week...hopefully he'll leave again next week |
