The more I think about it...shouldn't all of the Wyatt Family members have Wyatt as their surname? I know when Bryan joined for a brief period of time Bray kept referring to him as "Daniel Wyatt"

Braun Wyatt
Erick Wyatt
Baron Wyatt

Dunno...just feel like it makes them seem like a true group of evil backwoods hillbillies if they all took Bray's name. It doesn't have to be played off like they're actually related, they're just so brainwashed by Bray that they think they are. Once somebody "leaves the family" is when they take on their "real" name.

Nah. I think WWE are recognizing one of the 2 minor promotion runs they had, probably due to whichever it was (2CW or Hustle) being affiliated in some way with TNA at the time they won whichever belts. That's about the only explanation that makes sense in my mind.

Well, the idea would be that they're not truly related but all of the members are so brainwashed that they accept the Wyatt name. I think that's what they were going with when they had Daniel Wyatt, at least.

I watched the Hulu version of this yesterday. First Raw I've watched in six months. Pretty entertaining. I enjoyed the Dudleys/Sting surprises and the Cena/Stewart/Flair segment (even though I'm with the Cena-was-a-dick crowd, it was still a fun bit of television). Pretty telling that they cut out all the "Divas Revolution" stuff but included the 8-man tag and seemingly every video package from the show.

I get what you're saying, but it just doesn't work for me. I didn't like the "Daniel Wyatt" stuff either. Luke Harper, Erick Rowan, Daniel Bryan -- just let them keep their own names. The only way I'd like to see it is if someone got a complete overhaul to get remade in Bray Wyatt's image. But that's just my opinion.

Don't really think The Undertaker joining Ambrose & Reigns against The Wyatts is that stupid... I had a Lesnar, Undertaker & Reigns vs. Wyatt, Harper & Ambrose program mapped out in my mind that would have culminated at Hell in a Cell.

I don't know, Noid. If Taker is feeling up to putting in some more dates and they don't wanna push this weird quasi-heel turn he's flirting with, it could still work. Reigns and Ambrose look at him as the one guy who could even up the sides against the three of them. Taker says "no" because "fuck the Shield" but eventually Wyatt makes the wrong comment about how even Taker is afraid of Stowman and that's enough to get him to fight.

Is there some type of requirement that to be in the wyatt family you need to have a thinning hairline and a beard? Harper has a bald spot and is thinning at the front, Bray is thinning noticeably, and that new guy looks to have thinning hair.

The beard thing is definitely a must. Dunno about the thinning hairline, though...I don't think DB had a thinning hairline while he was with them as "Daniel Wyatt".

I don't think we need a "real" Sister Abigail. I was listening to Kevin Sullivan talk recently, and he used to reference this person (forgotten the name). Sullivan never wanted to bring in anybody to play the role, because in your head you've already formed a picture.

The ONLY person I could have seen pulling it off was Abigail J. Lee. And she may not have been the real one, and more someone just playing the role for Bray at that point in time.

Not sure if I'd go with that myself, as I liked the idea of Bray Wyatt targeting Dean Ambrose due to The Authority pointing Wyatt in that direction. I never got around to really giving much thought as to who would be pulling whose strings; but I imagine it eventually would have come out that Triple H always had The Wyatt Family as his true heel team, eventually leading to Bray becoming too dangerous to handle anymore.

I would have put Ambrose over in that Hell in a Cell match against Rollins though. They tried to explain away the loss, but I think the fans needed to have their faith in Ambrose rewarded with a big PPV win in the main event there. Ambrose would win cleanly, thus getting a measure of revenge against Rollins (explaining why he becomes so easily distracted by Wyatt moving forward), but as Ambrose is celebrating you'd cut the feed to a final message from Bray Wyatt, hinting that he'd be returning on RAW. There's your hook to tune in; plus it's something different for a PPV. It makes Wyatt seem like a big deal (as he gets to technically close out the show), plus you have your youngest main event in years.
