The "slewfoot" is debateable at best, the balls punching was definitely cheap but a one time incident, and everybody dives from time to time and no Crosby isn't a chronic diver though I'm sure you'll now post a ton of videos.

Debatable? Its clear as day. Also posting videos from his rookie year shows that he has been this way from the beginning. Yes there are other players who dive and perform cheapshots, but none of them complain as loudly as Crosby does.

Crosby stopped complaining after year 1, Crosby's diving reputation was completely unearned he dives no more or less than anyone else.

In his defense, he is more visible then any player out there. Not condoning it, but its more noticed when he does it.

Crosby stil complains, but alot less. Like I said above, its alot different from when Crosby dives then when Colton Orr dives.

Ovechkin is just as dirty, but dives alot less and complains alot less. Again, it could be just because Crosby is always in the spotlight on canadian TV.

Not sure what hit you are referring to in the second half of your post though.

The difference? Cooke lifts his elbow to hit Savard. Steckle wasnt even intentionally going after him.

Cooke fully looked like he intended to hit Marc.

The Cooke hit was worse but the Steckl hit is still a hit to the head, Steckel leans in ever so slightly at least from my POV.

The cooke hit, Cooke was lining Savard up. He was intending to hit him. Perhaps it was a mistake, perhaps not. But Cooke doesnt have a clean record of clean play, does he.

Steckel kinda does and again, it looks like Crosby got in the way as Steckel was skating away and he ran into him but it wasnt an intended check.

He's been trying to come back to playing hockey multiple times since the post-lockout but he either gets hurt (ex. groin injury) or his foot starts to get really bad pains and can't continue to skate.

The article says the foot has been giving him problems since 2003 but also manages to get better after some time off the ice which makes him think he's healed every time he wants to return to the ice.

As Phillys second and fourth are only a few slots apart from 1st and 3rd. The 7th may be a throwaway, but it could turn into a decent player like Hornqvist.
