True, I don't think 08 did though did it? Then again, I don't think many PS3 games were when that came out.

Only 3 weeks until 360 owners have the HD install option. Not for me though thanks.

Not sure if 08 did or not, i know most ps3 games had it, even motorstrom aand that was one of the first. Think some ported games might not have had the option.

Just played the demo and certainly enjoyed it more then I did 08's finished product. The matches do seem to flow a lot nicer then previous attempts. Definately looking forward to it now though, wondering if I should get it on the 360 or the PS3 though.

The THQ guys are saying that the PS3 is at the same level as the 360 one now. i can't remember if they said the PS3 has custom themes or not. If it does, it will probably boil down to whichever controller you prefer more.

PS3 does have custom themes, but not a custom soundtrack. 360 has both.

For whatever reason parts of the wrestlers entrances are still missing, the titantrons are obviously there but the large screen under that just displays the raw logo all the time. On wwe programming for instance michaels entrance that screen shows people with their hands in the air, more or less the same thing with them always missing the minitrons on the 2 side walls and the video screen at the entrance way in earlier games.

Then theres the screen thats above the titantron that says "save me" when jericho enters, near sure that has some form of video that plays as well but in the game (if its there) i think it just says raw or smackdown or whatever. Never really sure why that happens, im assuming disc space on the 360 might be an issue but i really cant see a wrestling game taking up the full 8.5 gigs.

Simply put, Jeff Hardy is an artist. His world revolves around writing "emoetry," recording music ("alternative, alternative music," according to his brother Matt), and employing tinfoil and paint to craft intimate, personal, and sometimes bizarre works of art. His house is decorated with toys, artificial plants and life-size Japanese fiberglass sculptures. One of his most cherished creations—a thirty-foot "Aluminummy" statue called Neroameee, from Nero, his middle name—stands tall outside his studio.

Still, this artist has always been drawn to another, very different canvas—that of the squared circle. Growing up with Matt in the pinewoods of Cameron, North Carolina, 11-year-old Jeff—influenced by the likes of Ric Flair, the Fabulous Freebirds, and the Rockers—took a ramp he built for his bike and painted it to resemble an entrance stage for his "wrestling ring," the backyard trampoline. As he grew older, so did his desire to take greater risks, whether it was to feel the rush of executing hundred-foot-high triples on his motorcross bike, or jumping off the roof of his house as a member of the brothers' "Teenage Wrestling Federation." It was such fearlessness and desire that would bring the 16-year-old daredevil to World Wrestling Entertainment, and after several years catapult him to worldwide fame and main-event status, first as one-half of WWE's high-flying "Team Extreme," The Hardys, then in singles competition.

Though many of his paintings are abstract, this free spirit is a Rembrandt inside the ring, signing his name not with the traditional paintbrush or pen, but with wildly unorthodox, high-impact maneuvers off top ropes and 20-foot ladders. His credo is simple: to create, then surpass his creation.

Unfortunately, most true artists must sink to their lowest point before attaining their greatest heights. For Jeff, the wear-and-tear of living life on the road would help prompt him to leave WWE in 2003. But after a three-year personal journey of refocusing his passion and energies, he now finds himself "in a positive place…and that's what motivates me." Since returning to WWE in August 2006, this reinspired risk-taker has gone back to creating the art he loves most—entertaining WWE fans in arenas around the world. In the ring, Matt Hardy lives his motto: "I will not die." Time and time again he has sacrificed his body for both the enjoyment of the fans, and the sport which he has loved so dearly for his entire life.

Matt came to the WWE in 1998 as a tag team specialist, teaming up with his brother Jeff to form the appropriately named The Hardys. While severely undersized, The Hardy's outstanding chemistry and unmatched heart carried them to stardom. The Hardys went on to become five-time World Tag Team Champions in WWE before breaking up in 2002.

In 2003, shortly after joining the SmackDown roster, Matt Hardy pursued the Cruiserweight Championship. After struggling for weeks to make the weight limit, Hardy defeated Kidman for the Championship at No Way Out '03.

After he won the title, Hardy endured an up and down rivalry with Rey Mysterio. Hardy got the best of Rey Mysterio in a controversial Championship match at WrestleMania 19. Alright, can someone explain to me what the abilities are? Is that like the Dirty, Showman, Hardcore thing they had last year? Whats the explanation of each?

And did the ref just count when Jeff was on the top rope? 5 count to move on the ropes now?

I'm pretty sure the abilities are taking the place of the styles. As of saying what does what, no clue over here. I'm just looking at internet porn until the 360 demo is on XBL.

Just noticed the crowd in the ps3 version, first 3 rows are 3d, rest seem to be badly done 2d with really blocky black outlines around them.

Nice! I'm playing the demo, and Matt's second twist of fate is the top rope diamond cutter esque one. Like the opponent is sitting on the top rope, and he does the twist of fate like that. Badass.

Yeah, it's easy. Just create a new ID on your PS3, sign up for a PSN account, and then do all the crap for Europe. Just make sure you use a different email address, and I think you may need to look up a UK zip

You don't even need a real address, it took me 10 minutes to create a UK acount and everything worked fine, but you need a HDTV to see the PAL signal.

Sports-entertainment has seen its share of immortals. There have been icons, some Great Ones, a few Olympians and a whole lot of legends. But there has only been one Showstopper, and he is Shawn Michaels.

In an industry where the hyperbole is the norm, there may not be enough ways to describe HBK. He is truly incomparable.
