The Yankees making another pitcher look dominant so far. And Pettitte pitching great as well with no support. If he got any run support this year he would have about 7 wins.

Man.
Adam Lind should have tagged up and scored from 2nd base on that deep fly ball to Damon. |

Speaking of falling apart, Giambi hits a home run and has to limp around the bases.

So much Kirk Gibson going on right now.
1) Kirk Gibson would tag up and score from 2B on deep fly balls to center 2) Kirk Gibson limped around the bases after a HR. 3) Kirk Gibson was a beast. |

That was pretty crazy, he was about 3/4 of the way to home before they even threw.

Toronto used to have a pitcher back in the early 90's. Juan Guzman. He was so slow with his delivery that runners would steal home off him. It's so nice to actually witness the Jays steal a run for a change.

Matsui should have been playing deeper. No way you give up that type of a double at this stage of the game.
I thank him. |

Even where Matsui was playing that should have been caught. Incredible how hard it is to score one run only to give it right back.

It was a fun game to watch; that steal of home was great even if it did lead to a loss.
The team this year is just pretty frustrating. No hits with RISP and not taking advantage of the baserunners they gave us; they really should have had more than 1 run in that inning. So many problems with this team it seems. Our outfield is pretty much dead on both sides of the ball, no hitting and no defense. Pretty tiring seeing Pettitte pitching great games and getting saddled with losses as well. 2.40 ERA and a 3-4 record. I still believe they will make a run soon but every game they lose is that much bigger of a hole to climb out of. Boston could really kill us this weekend if they have a big series. Nonetheless, it was still a fun game to watch lol. |

Wow really surprised Beckett bounced back strong; 7 IP 2 ER 7 K 1 BB....Red Sox looking really good right now, Youkilis is playing out of his mind and they just beat the Indians twice in a row without David Ortiz taking an at bat yet in the series.
Blue Jays stealing home was wild, today on WEEI they where talking about how the inside the park homerun is most the exciting play in baseball (since Youk just got one last night) but I dunno, stealing home might top it. |

Saw the Mets' AA team play last night. Pretty crazy that their top prospect, CF Fernando Martinez, is 18 born in October. Just 2 months older than me
![]() The MLB game was crazy too. Good to see Delgado is back, now once Wright gets going - look out. The 12th inning was crazy. Down a run, Reyes walks, Benitez balks him to 2nd. Chavez sac bunt. Beltran doesn't get him in, so Delgado is in with the Mets down to their last out and Benitez balks AGAIN, giving up the tying run. Delgado walkoff shot 4tw. |

Yeah the age thing is depressing. It didn't bother me when NBA players were younger than me and Crosby and Ovechkin didn't bother me either, but when Felix Hernandez started playing that was depressing. And now the NFL rookies are my age and younger which is even worse.

Finally a win.
LOL though. I do start to see how A-Rod is hated by most teams. He was on second base and Posada popped up to the infield, as he was running behind the third baseman he apparently was calling "I got it" and the guy let the ball drop. I dunno, pretty dirty but kind of hilarious at the same time. |

Just saw a replay. I guess he didn't say I got it, but he did say something to make the guy let it drop. Looked like he just yelled or something.
That said, I'm pretty sure he can expect some pitches up and in the next time we face the Jays. Last edited by Dragon; 05-31-2007 at 12:02 AM. |

Seen the replay a couple times and it looks like he just said "Ha" or something. Different than saying I got it or mine or whatever. Not saying it wasn't deceptive or a little dirty but deceptive plays happen all the time.

Wow, went to the Twins game today and it turned out to be a great one. White Sox went up 4-0 early and eventually 6-1, but the heart of the Twins lineup (Cuddyer-Morneau-Hunter) kept coming through until they tied it up.
Then bottom of the ninth one out, bases are loaded and Morneau comes up. All he needs is a sac fly to win, but on the first pitch he pops out to Pierzynski. Then Hunter comes up, and we all know that if he doesn't come through the game will go at least another two innings until the heart of the lineup is back up. So White Sox bring in a righty to face Hunter and he walks him in four pitches, driving in the game winner! Not bad for a day game. |

A-Rod jumping off of 2nd base to try to elbow Pedoria a few weeks ago was pretty hilarious. I'm not sure what category saying "HA" falls into though, I mean 2nd basemen try to deke base stealers all the time (by trying to make it look like the throw attempt went into centerfield) so I dunno

Actaully I take that back A-Rod slapping the ball out of Bronson Arroyo's hand during the playoffs was hilarious, as was his reaction trying to play it off like he did nothing wrong. A-Rod is such a joke, so glad that deal fell through and the Red Sox didn't get that clown.
