I'm sure he had his reasons. I can't imagine he just woke up that morning deciding that was the day he was gonna blade. Whether he thought the image of blood during the post match attack would make him look more sinister or if was just out of respect to a legend like Lawler to make him look like a bit of a badass, I'm sure it was worth it.

The Great Khali and The Undertaker
would this last match have ended better if they faced off at
Wrestlemania???. I mean it would have been another big guy for Taker
to defeat. I just felt the storyline with The Great Khali was rushed.

They could have made it into something huge...

Khali even in his prime was struggling to move, it would have been a repeat of Giant Gonzalez and that's not really something anyone should aim for.

Having the match at mania would have made it a better spectacle but it still wouldnt have been a great match. Khali was limited but taker would have made everything better but knowing taker was going to win may have taken away from khali's dominance
