Germany and Italy should be a great game, I have never been one to like the German team, but this year seems to be different. I wouldn't mind seeing any of the four teams left winning.

Back from holiday.

All I have to say is England were poor. I've said it on this board for ages and no one listened to me but Gerrard and Lampard together = pile of shit. Time to get a defensive midfielder in there rather than have two midfielders who clearly can't coordinate or play together. Obviously its Lamps who has to drop down.

Lennon is a legend like I knew he would be.

And fuck I hate Ronaldo. Hope all you Man U fans appreciate why everyone thinks he's a fucking sneak now.

And for people slating Cristiano Ronaldo for the stuff that happened against England, get a fucking life! If you're gonna blame someone, blame Wayne, the ref or Sven. Ronaldo did what? Pointed out to the ref that Rooney stamped on Carvalho? Enjoyed the fact that our most dangerous player was sent off?

The diving was taking the piss but he's hardly the only one at it. If the tables were turned and Wayne pointed out to the ref that Ronaldo had stamped on say Frank Lampard's leg (the man has no balls), there wouldn't be a single fuckin' mention of it. In fact, if anything, some tards would probably praise him.

I think the reason everyone has laid into Ronaldo so much is due to the fact that they already hated him and every other Portuguese player to begin with.

It's not enough that they appeal EVERY time one of them goes down, that includes that fat twat Scolari, they also act like they're injured EVERY time they go down, which is ALL THE FUCKING TIME, and they then lambast the ref everytime a decision doesn't go there way.

But that's not enough, they have to then go and get our best player sent off for something the referee didn't even see. And he's also Rooney's teammate (probably ex now) and generally a smug, vastly overrated little prick.

Seriously though all Ronaldo does is stepovers, and not even properly, he just does it so much that its rendered almost useless, he's terrible on deliveries and generally doesn't contribute nearly like he should considering how good he's supposed to be. Ashley Cole OWNED him in 2004 and he replied by kicking him in the head.

I'm glad they lost, i'm glad Scolari showed his true colours too, he spent the whole night arguing for decisions that had they gone Portugal's way, may well have started another world war, that 'penalty' for instance where (i forgot which Port player) leaped into the air and brushed against a Frenchman's hands and claimed foul! He then showed no dignity or grace in defeat, just childishness.

Watching Ronaldo cry again was also sweet, not so much for the Rooney thing, but for all of the above and everything he represents in that shitbag of a team that claim to be sportsmen.

Rooney stamped on a guy's knackers. He deserved to be sent off and Ronaldo has a duty to stand up for his team mate. If it were Ronaldo stamping on John Terry's knackers, Rooney would be in there too, telling the ref. Rightly so. Rooney isn't Ronaldo's team mate at the World Cup.

Don't remember Cole "owning" Ronaldo, but Ashley Cole is no angel and he's kicked lumps out of Ronaldo before.

Rooney dived to win a penalty against Arsenal the season before last. He's not above it.

Joe Cole is the single worst diver in the country during the season but it's all good in the hood when he is wearing the 3 Lions. Not that England fans are bitter or fickle or anything.

Ok i was venting before, but to be fair Ronaldo was and continues to be spoken of in the same breath as Wayne Rooney and even Thierry Henry (yes seriously i've heard that), and as far as i'm concerned he has nothing on either, he has nothing on half our squad come to think of it. But, Rooney has speed, unbelievable skill, high fitness levels, power, great ball control and passing ability. Ronaldo has great ball skills (when he uses them properly), speed and he is adept at diving and being dramatic as most Southern-European players are.

ps - thats a stereotype but stupendously true nonetheless

Ronaldo did what he could to help his team win. Rooney did something stupid that probably cost his side a chance to win. If anyone's a bitch, it's Rooney.

At the end of the day, the last time we played Man U I abused Rooney and Ronaldo because I think they are both cunts. I still think they are both cunts and to be consistant I will most likely abuse them next time we play them.

I don't think at this level it has much of an effect on them, in the lower leagues some players can absolutely shit themselves at some of the abuse they get, but its just funny doing it to Ronaldo or Rooney.

Plus when they inevitably score, hopefully they'll run over cupping their ears and get booked or something.
