Morgan again lol, really made a point to show how shallow Manny was playing in left.....except he always plays that shallow. Why would you play deep with the Green Monster? What do you gain by doing that? A better view of it hitting off the wall?

For the record I am huge fan of judging things off of a pitchers ERA. Giving up runs is what it is all about to me.

Yeah, Morgan has been complaining about where Manny has been playing the whole game. Yet Manny plays every ball off the monster perfectly.

Although Joe likes to assume he's right when a ball is hit right in the corner. He said Manny had no chance at it because he was playing shallow lol.

Looking at ERA has always struck me as the best way to look too. I dunno, I guess it does depend on defense some but I still think its the best thing to look at. You should take into account other stuff too but I always seem to look at ERA first.

lol at Morgan wondering if it was the Red Sox more clutch or the relief pitching as why this season they have outscored the Yankees in the later innings.

Yankees on ESPN tomorrow night too.

Even as a Yankees fan I can admit that they are getting too much time on the baseball nights on ESPN. Also, not very fun seeing the Yankees embarass themselves on national TV every week lol.

I do remember that this was supposed to be Roger Clemens comeback, but now everyone gets to see the great Matt DeSalvo.

We just did got through our 4th series with Boston and it's only june. However, we have yet to play Detroit and Kansas City yet.

An Abreu for Dye rumor is going around now. I don't think it will happen and I really wouldn't want Jermaine Dye, though Abreu has been garbage thus far. He seems like he may be heating up a little though.

Yea you'd think they would spread it out, now the Sox/Yanks don't play for like another 3 months and will only be facing each other 6 more times...aftering facing each other 13 times in the first 2 months of the season.
