the right crowd for Asuka and Shinsuke to win. I didn't think the women's rumble was bad. Was pleasantly surprised.

Thought Rousey stuff was a bit flat though. Crowd liked her well enough but meh

Guess on the bright side, ESPN is reporting Ronda signed a full-time deal with the WWE and likely isn't just showing up for a one-off at Mania like Taker or barely be around like Lesnar.

Still should have just held off till Monday for her debut if she wasn't going to do anything at all at the Rumble.

Asuka winning was the right call but if they didn't have Rousey come out to end the show, it would have felt like the middle of a Raw episode ending a major PPV.

Definitely think the women's Rumble will be an annual thing........but I will say two full fledged Rumbles makes for a long night.

Next year I'd make the women's Rumble a 20 person match since it's obvious they felt they needed half of the field to spend ages outside the ring.

Could always switch things around with relying more on NXT for surprises and less on Legends. This year only had 2 from NXT and the rest being filled by Legends.

Originally it was rumored WWE was looking at just 3-4 for Legends and the rest from NXT for this year but ended up going with almost a third of the Rumble being Legends. I get why they did it because of the historical nature of this Rumble.

I am glad they didn't taint Asuka's streak by having Rousey enter and win though.

Just like how they have the ability to make a smark crowd feel like they've "won" by having Nakamura win because they're still gonna do the same matches they planned at the Rumble anyway, having 2 women's titles gives them the same luxury. Rousey winning would have fucked up Asuka's undefeated streak and turned people off while still having the same two women's titles matches the presumably have planned anyway.

Really makes the rumble matches feel pointless but... if you're gonna have a lame 2 title situation, they might as well take advantage of situations like this.
