They actually played well, and Southern had to catch up in the second half.. Their WR #18 has awesome hands..

Yeah I can't get over how awful they played in their first game. They got their doors blown off by William & Mary a Division 2, or whatever they call it now, school. 7 turnovers. It was a spectacle in self destruction. They have gotten better the last 2 games but that first game was just so bad.

David Lee is the QB coach for the Dolphins. He was the Offensive Coordinator for U of Arkansas in 2007 where he ran the Wildcat offense.

I think every team in the NFL has tried it. Hell, the Ravens went with what was called the "Suggs Package" last year and lined up Troy Smith at QB and Joe Flacco at WR.


He made the catch, and if he hadn't tripped over his own feet at like the 10 yard line, he would have had a touchdown reception, which would have made him the first player in NFL History to throw for a TD, run for a TD ( a brilliant 40 yard scamper) and catch a TD in the same game.

Im surprised the Ravens don't run it more often with Troy Smith basically rotting away on the bench and Flacco being 6 foot 5... But Flacco is the man!

I'm assuming you didn't look that stat up because he'd actually be the 8th player to do that. Tomlinson last did it in 2005.

Using it once, and featuring it are two different things.

The Bills run a few wildcat plays a year. Doesnt mean they feature it.

They do feature a No Huddle offense.

I dont know where i said, but i told everyone here Dallas Clark would be a superstar. Look at him now.This guy has a legitament chance at leading the league in receiving yards and possibly catches. And maybe even TD's. I know its only been 2 weeks, but still, this guy is amazing. He's gunna be one of the greatest of all time. He leads the league in receiving yards as of today.

I love Dallas Clark so much.

Everyone at ESPN has labeled him the " Hybrid " which i guess is kinda true. But I think most teams just dont play there TE's like the Colts do. Clark cant be single covered by a LB, DB or Saftey. Thats a major matchup advantage.

I love this guy so much. The only thing i ever worry about is the hits he takes. He's about 2 concussions from ending his career.

I started Todd Heap over Clark in my fantasy league, I would have been pissed if I had lost.

Todd Heap used to be awesome, but he's been fighting injuries the last two years. If he stays healthy he could have a huge year as one of Flacco's favorite targets.

Also in Ravens news, 2 weeks before they face the Patriots, they traded Prescott Burgess to NE for a draft pick. He was playing primarily special teams so I guess it was a good move but they could have waited til after they play NE.

I remember when Matt Leinart caught a TD pass in the Rose Bowl, that was pretty bad ass.

I also remember when David Patten scored 3 TDs 3 different ways against the Colts in one of Tom Brady's first starts. He might have had a kick return not and not a run, he definitely threw one though.

Of course all that is without Marshall and Royal really getting into things yet. And the running game has been somewhat slow in getting going. Just wish the O had a little more time to catch up with the D before we head into the part of the schedule that may kill our season after week 4

King's Island turns McNair murder into Halloween display

We realize that the Halloween season entails routine exposure to gruesome and disturbing images. But even when dabbling in exploded eyeballs and spilled intestines, it's implied that good taste will still be exercised.

King's Island in Cincinnati didn't get the memo.

The amusement park's Halloween Haunt initially included the scene of the Steve McNair murder.

Seriously.

But the Halloween Haunt display doesn't open until Friday. And, according to Clay Travis of FanHouse, the McNair murder scene won't be part of it, thanks to the uproar that arose after video of the display emerged via a sneak peek of the Halloween Haunt experience emerged via WLVT in Cincinnati.

"There will not be a scene at our Halloween event that features Steve McNair or anyone that resembles him," said Kings Island spokesperson Don Helbig.

Meanwhile, teenagers throughout the country now have been given a new idea for trick-or-treating costumes.

What shocks me is that the entire park seems to be populated with exhibits like that, and they're only closing the McNair one.
The article makes mention of a dead Heath Ledger surrounded by pill bottles, and other gags involving Farah Fawcett, Billy Mays, Ed McMahon and Michael Jackson.

The whole concept of their attractions is so ridiculously oppurtunist and offensive, that a reasonable person can't help but laugh about the whole situation.
