I don't mind the belts at all. It'll take some getting used to them, but they looked good on RAW (even if, yes, they did sort of look like pennies).

The decision to rename the Unified WWE Tag Team Championship the WWE Tag Team Championship was made by Vince McMahon himself. McMahon has been quoted as saying that he wants new belts to be marketed, and that it would also be easier for the talent who holds them to pass through airports more easily with one set of belts instead of two.

As of right now, it is also unknown as to whether the new titles will be considered "unified" titles to be defended on both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown or whether the titles will be exclusive to RAW only.

Jesse Neal of Ink Inc. is also from there. That was even made into a storyline. I'm fairly certain there have been others, but don't really follow TNA to know for sure.

DInsaneOne does not have that much rep yet (10+)
the belts look like old props found from wrestlemania IX...not 2 fond of them..but wwe will force me to like it eventually.

In terms of tag team lineage....they should retire the wwe tag team titles and continue with the world tag team lineage..since that was the original tag titles.

I don't mind them.

Change is always nice. But I do agree that they looked giant pennies on RAW.
