Can I make an observation/ask a question? [NO!]

Why is there a need to have some famous person sing the national anthem?
I've never really understood the big need to have _somebody_ sing the your anthem. Why not just put on a record, and then expect! the audience to sing it. Play the first 10 seconds, stop the record, let the audience finish!

Trust me - it's way epic!

But hey, why think, when you can assume?

Some of you think wrestling is only for a select few, a certain demographic. damn everybody else.

Some of you forget it's a business and it will try to reach everybody it can, even for a day.

Id say the odds that the majority of a crowd would know the lyrics to the National Anthem are not that good. It would be a disaster epic if anything.

Droford's actually raised a good point for once. People tend to lose steam right around the "rocket's red glare." Assuming they make it that far.

But it'd be an epic disaster that was still better than Epic Movie.

Let's look at the facts here. WWE put out feelers for him to come work WrestleMania - that does not mean he's GOING to go and work WrestleMania. I wouldn't put it past Bieber's "people" to decline this offer, as wrestling isn't really "cool" these days, and as much as I hate to say it, Bieber is one of the biggest stars in entertainment right now. Doing WrestleMania seems like a poor choice. And don't say shit about "he'll do it for the paycheck" - that's bullshit, he has enough money for the next six generations of Bieber's.

Secondly, if he DOES do Mania, big fucking deal, people. He's a big star, especially considering the WWE's young female fanbase (the same ones who cheer for John Cena), and it makes sense. Besides, we had faggot Kid Rock performing last year for WAY too long - it can't get worse than that.

Too many to requote, but really, the U.S. national anthem is "The Star-Spangled Banner", not "America The Beautiful" or even "God Bless America".

Even if you ginuinely don't know, or are unable to use context clues from every other sporting event in the nation, that one is such an easy fact check being that you're on the internet to post here that it's just sad.

Also, I would prefer Beiber to Lil' Wayne and/or Birdman. I'd rather have a shitty pop star than less than shitty rappers. I love Hip-Hop, and those two assholes aren't *it* in the least.

What do you have against Birdman?

This really isn't a big deal, guys. Takes no more then a couple minutes and most of us are getting our beer/snacks situated during that time or not watching at all... or both.

Triple H should sing the national anthem with Motorhead doing backup.

But the song hasn't been consistent throughout WM history. Star-Spangled at some, America the Beautiful at others.
I haven't seen anyone who didn't appear to know which song was the national anthem, I only saw people discussing what song he would be singing. Their biggest error lying in thinking that the song is consistent. I appears not to be.

I don't think his people would think it's risky. Singing the mational anthem isn't a big deal anyways. Hell, they had Ashanti sing at WM19. Even being guest host on RAW wouldn't doo much damage. I don't think the little girls would care either

Taking part in storylines a la K-Fed is a totally different story though

.....fucking aye...
I see nothing wrong with the WWE desiring to have Justin Bieber sing at Wrestlemania. The WWE targets a younger demographic, and Justin Bieber is very popular amongst that particular demographic. It's a smart business decision. Don't lash out at Mr. Bieber simply because he is successful in life. If you work hard in life, you can be successful as well.

Are you the left or right sock? Get lost in the dryer? Stuck in a pair of pants? Man I hate that when you put your pants on and a loose sock falls out.
