Pulling this thread from the bowels of Hell to state the fact that Ken Kennedy is the WCW TNA Heavyweight Champion, and he's lugging around this chunk of shit. Even though he publicly craps on it in promos, he still comes to the ring with it instead of a respectable looking strap. This looks to be TNA's "spinner belt".

Of all the moves to copy from WWE, they choose a stupid one.

Simple explanation:

The people in power (who happen to be Bischoff and Hogan) won't spend the money - in kayfabe or reality - to give Kennedy a new belt. Storylinewise, they feel it's still Jeff's belt and expect him to get it back soon.

If the new belt has an old school Microphone(or an asshole, I guess) on it, it could be the shiz. And if they're giving everyone their own belt, it could be pretty dope. I would buy the rvd spinning pot leaf belt.
