At one time, I believed Matt Hardy was something special. I honestly believed he has just burned out. If he was smart, he would have just taken a few years off from WWE and recharged his batteries. In a few years time, he could come back and be alot fresher. I still believe he has talent, even if he acts like a complete tool most of the time.

This may just be me, but every memorable part of every match always had Jeff doing something with a little assistance from Matt, or Jeff by himself. I can't remember one spot in one of those memorable matches that it was just Matt doing some shit that made you say "Man, this guys talented"

This is actually what I was really hoping he'd do. But it was inevitable that he'd join TNA. With Jeff at the top of the company, it's only smart for him to sign and ride the coattails and possibly get that one main event push he's sought after for so long.

I think he is his own worst enemy. The way he goes about things are ridiculous. He acts like a spoiled child. Getting into internet feuds, making mindless videos of yourself and posting them on youtube, bragging about how many twitter followers you have, really, who gives a fuck? What does it have to do with grand scheme of things concerning his career? Nothing.

The internet can be a very useful, powerful tool, but I think Matt goes about using it in the wrong ways.

I'm not sure if I believe Matt Hardy's video. Sean Morley works for the WWE. Granted, the WWE has let some guys under contract work indy shows in the past, but I really don't think the WWE would let a TNA guy feud with one of their employees. I'd like to see some evidence provided by Hardy.

Sean Morley should have just been the better man and left Hardy to destroy himself.

Yea...that;s the one thing that has kept me from taking sides here. Val is emplyed for the biggest wrestling company in the world, and in all reality, should keep quiet and stay away from mindless internet bickering.

And at the same time, Matt should get over it. He's not in WWE anymore, and being in TNA, greater opportunities undoubtedly lie ahead.

Not to mention, any asswhipe can whip up an email claiming "so and so said this" and present it as fact.

See, that's just it. I mean, it doesn't make sense that Sean Morley would get involved in the first place. He has a "lifer's" job, and essentially puts it at risk by giving himself such a high profile outside of his job backstage. That is probably the only thing I believe gives credence to what Matt Hardy is saying. Why Morley would get involved in the first place is a mystery, unless he just really doesn't like Matt Hardy from his time with the WWE -- and judging by how Matt Hardy's personality has revealed itself -- who could really blame him? Especially when Morley was always a company man, and Matt always wanted a little more (after towing line for years, granted).

It probably is a work, but Morley would of expected that someone in the WWE would see it, and wouldn't give a shit. There probably is some element of work going on here, no doubt. Maybe.

I don't really know what to think. I'd like to think it's a work, but knowing Matt Hardy, and his enfatuation with getting attention by doing stupid things like this, I have some doubt this is a work.

Matt will be largely remembered for his run as a Hardy boy. While he has had solid runs, the Hardys is what will come to define his wrestling career when he decides to hang it up.

Val on the other hand, really doesn't have much of a legacy. He was given a pretty shit gimmick that had very limited long term potential, made it work, got a few title runs out of it, and eventually was used as enhancement talent.

While Matt will have the better in ring legacy, Val's career in the business as a whole has more potential, in my opinion, to actually impact what happens in the future. If he really is an agent, or does run some sort of indy promotion, the wealth of knowledge he posseses and the willingness to put people over and help further their careers is what could end up defining him.
