Gertner's right. He's not what WWE fans want. They need the character to connect to. Without a decent character, fans WILL NOT get behind him unless he oozes charisma, which he doesn't. WWE.com put his match with Dolph at #2. His style can mesh well with almost anyone in the company. The problem is that his matches do require longer durations than what he's getting to get over SOLELY on the ring work. If he actually got some time (like in the Dolph matches) the fans could and DO get into the matches. But the fact is that WWE thrives on shorter matches on the undercard, until (if) Danielson is main eventing, he can't get over on his ring work alone.

He shouldn't be getting bigger pops than Morrison because Morrison is in the middle of a sustained push to groom him for the main event.

Superstars gets piped in sounds too. It's on delay from either Monday (Raw) or Tuesday (Smackdown.)

If JTG was really over he'd be on WWE PPV or Monday Night Raw. He couldn't win the tag team titles when he was basically the only real tag team with Shad.
