How many ROH shows have you been to? I would venture to say zero because if you did and you are an actual wrestling fan (A PERSON WHO ACTIVELY ENJOYS THE BUSINESS AND IS WILLING TO SPEND MONEY TO ENJOY IT) there is no way you would feel the way you do about Ring of Honor.

I'll tell you this... ROH only fills about 30% of the void ECW left in the US Wrestling scene, but it is the top independent promotion in the United States. The reason that ROH has been thriving for NINE YEARS is because they did not copy anybody and developed a style of wrestling that was initiated to the American audience through ECW and guys like RVD and Jerry Lynn.

I am not a ROH-tard, I've been to a lot of their shows at The Manhattan Center and without a doubt they were the best live wrestling shows I have ever seen, and without a doubt the best matches I have ever seen, and without a doubt the funnest audience to be in. I was never a big fan of ROH on HDNET, I hated that they used so many jobbers to put people over. While I understand the idea and concept of it, it doesn't make me want to go out of my way to watch the programing, so I rarely did. I don't buy their DVD's or watch online compilation music videos or anything like that. But I do know that I can go to a show in March and then go to a show in December and see the culmination of a storyline that I witnessed happen myself in person nearly a year ago. And that is some old school shit you just don't get ANYWHERE else.

My hope with the new ROH is that they get rid of the jobbers like the Bravado Brothers and others like them, up the production and TV experience about 10 fold and keep the rest basically the same.

So Gertner I don't know if you have had the same experience as me of being there live, or if you have ever even watched the show before on TV, either way if you haven't done one of those two things then shut the fuck up. If you did watch the show and didn't like it, that's fine, we all know that now, so just shut the fuck up.

So to wrap up, yes your right ROH will not overtake TNA overnight potentially ever. But nobody really cares about that, we just want a top 3 again and it looks like we will have it.
By saying this you only make the indy/ROH troll stronger.

You're definitely an ROH fan because the sand is pouring out of your vagina. This will lead to nothing. The same viewers will watch these vanilla midgets at 2am when this is shown, because as we know, Indy fans are jobless losers who live in their mom's basement, so nothing will change in your life. This will attract no new fans and die a slow death because nobody wants to see wrestlers who look like a guy working at Starbucks with no personality wrestle in front of a bunch of fat virgins who take this crap way too seriously.

I win, you lose.

No butt fuck you don't call the shots, you lose by simply existing.

I don't like those fucking skinny jobber bitches, and it is said there will be roster cuts for the new ROH, and improvements. So out with fat fuck Bobby Dempsey and the burger flippin Bravado Brothers, kick out the homeless population and then you about about 15 really fucking good wrestlers. Yes some need a lot of character work, absolutely. ROH isn't perfect, its going from being and independent promotion to a part of a corporation, and hopefully they pump up the fucking volume.

Bravado Bros will be the goods with their new gimmick. Pink Argyle tight wearing Grandma's boys = money.

They have way more personality than Roderick Strong. Then again, so do most rocks.

Yeah I dunno. Had no prior knowledge of Dempsey before going to the Richmond and Charlotte shows last year, and though the crowd was hot for him, I didn't quite get what the big deal was. Wasn't too impressed

I've been to ECW shows and yeah pretty much, although ECW crowds didn't shower.

There's a HUGE difference between WWE and Indy fans. WWE fans don't care nearly as much about who wins or loses. Most are just casual fans. I used to watch it religiously, but now I really only watch it if there isn't a football or hockey or baseball game on, or if I'm bored.

They don't over analyze it or get whiny if somebody talks shit about it like indy fans do because they don't care. They don't care about workrate or any of that crap or care that Vince calls it entertainment. That's what TNA or ROH fans don't get. It's ALL sports entertainment. Unless ROH or TNA start not having pre-determined winners than that's what it is. WWE fans don't care. Indy fans do.

The wrestling vs. entertainment argument is retarded, I agree. Harping that "we're wrestling" doesn't change the fact that ROH and WWE are in the same business, doing the same thing.

I will argue though that WWE fans tend to care more about the outcome than indy fans. It's been my experience that the indy fans generally just like to see good matches, where the more hardcore WWE fans spaz about who wins (see, e.g., Christian losing.) It's the annoying arm chair bookers that are a pain in the ass (X should be champion, they're dropping the ball), but you get those in both the WWE and indy feds.

Indy fans do care about workrate though, definitely. Some more than others. What it really comes down to though is indy fans like good, entertaining matches, and a lot of them equate work rate with good/entertaining matches.

Also, I'm amazed at how efficient your trolling is as getting people to spaz. "Oh no, you called my beloved indy wrestler X a vanilla midget. I'm going to show you by yelling at you on the internet."

Eventually I'm going to post a thread that's an objective analysis of ROH, it's roster, etc. You'll love it Gertner, plenty of opportunities to troll. Although knowing me, I'll never get around to doing it, as I have a life and better things to do.

Gertie, I really don't care what you watch or don't. If you don't watch wrestling, why are you even wasting your precious time on the forum? Your just fucking annoying. Just because you used to watch and now you don't, do you really think that makes you less of a loser?

I've read your posts on here for a few years and your obviously a total fucking fruit cake who would stick his cock in a tranny or a bearded open mouth as soon as a nice tight pussy. You want to act like your not a loser? Fuck off, you brought that shit up nobody else did. Calling wrestling fans losers isn't the worst you could say but come on, you were once a fan, you went to indy shows, so your a loser by your own definition.

These days I like to tell people I am a wrestling fan and you know what, they fucking respect me for it because I am not ashamed to enjoy what I fucking enjoy.

And the Bravado Brothers gimmick is an indy mess and it won't sell a fucking ticket to anyone. We don't need any fucking Hardy Boy's rip off's, especially ones that can't fucking bring it in the ring. Bobby is a fat fuck who gets pops because he's an underdog, and Roderick Strong needs a break from ROH, never been much of a fan. To tell the truth ROH has fallen over the past year in terms of roster, but I have faith they will pump it back up.

For all the shit like the Bravado's or Dempsey, the vanilla suplex machines like Strong, ROH does have The Kings of Fucking Wrestling, The Worlds Best Fucking Tag Team, Davey Fucking Richards, El Fucking Generico, Fuckin Homicide, and The Fallen Fucking Angel Chris Daniels.

And they just got that gay ass emo Jimmy Jacobs who is a fucking excellent heel and could be a great addition to the new ROH.

I think ROH needs to make the Kings of Wrestling the stars of the promotion if anyone is to be. They are the shit, and will kick your teeth into the fucking aisle.

Jimmy Jacobs is greatness.

Also, Homicide is insanely overrated. He is literally the laziest fucking guy on the indy scene.

And give the Bravado's some time. People used to say Rhett Titus was worthless, and he's money teamed with KK now. They already have way more personality than Cole and Reilly, which granted, doesn't say much.

Also, Edwards and Richards are great wrestlers, but aren't really marketable, and should really stick together in the tag division. Especially Edwards. No one is going to pay to see him.

And they need to bring Austin Aries back.

If ROH wants to succeed, they need to get as many guys who can talk well as they can.

They have Jacobs, Corino, Hero, Claudio, etc, but they need more.

Also, Hero and CLaudio should be in the world title scene, not Richards and Edwards. I know Richards and Edwards can go, but they don't have the mic skill to really build a good feud. There feud could be a great semi-main event feud.

I think that we will get he pay off for the Edwards run at Best In The World, when Richards gets his well deserved run.

I think Richards is the prime subject for an ROH World Title run to kick off the new company in September. He embodies everything ROH has stood for since the beginning, basically by being a sick ass wrestler. I think he is marketable to ROH fans (obviously) and most people will find him to be the best wrestler in the company when the display him as such. I think he has a great look and obviously talent, maybe a good manager could do him some good. Colt Cabana could be used in many different ways other than in the ring to get people over, I think they should look to him.

Homicide isn't overrated I think he's a little stuck at the moment and needs a good bloody feud to get him over huge again. I really just wanna see him stab people with forks and fuck them up, kinda miss that in wrestling at the moment.

The thing about the Bravado's is that, I know I could kick their asses by myself at the same time. So I can't buy it, but when the new show comes out I will watch the first four episodes and decide how I'll go from there.

Kinda getting my indy fix from JCW at the moment, which is by far one of the funniest fucking promotions in the world. The commentary is nothing short of extraordinary genius. The worse the wrestling, the better the commentary and I love it. Plus they do balance the garbage with talent, and they are working their way up this ladder and will probably become the most profitable indy in the world withing a few years.

Are you talking about the IWC WWE fans or regular WWE fans? There's a difference. The IWC WWE fans were upset that Christian lost, but the majority still cheer for Orton more.

Lol I'm sure they "respect" you. Do they say "much respect to you bro", and then you reply in typical indy fashion "it's about respect and honor, because I AM WRESTLING!!!"

You're definitely the typical loser indy fan. Who the hell gets this upset and whiny over a fake sport. Wait, I forgot, indy fans still think it's real haha. Nobody will watch your vanilla midgets and it'll be cancelled within a few months. So you'll have to go back to the only way you could see this crap which is begging your mom for an advance on your allowance so you can buy a DVD, or getting your mom to drop you off and pick you up at their events like the rest of the Jonah Hill lookalikes who attend.

Both. Obviously the IWC fans cared more about Christian. But the casual fans still care, not as passionately, but they care. Take for example the obviously "anti" Cena fan base that extends well beyond the IWC.

Although in rereading what I wrote, I think I made a mistake. I don't think WWE fans care more about the outcome than indy fans per se. Let me rephrase it a little. Indy fans care more about the match in the ring, the style, basically, how good the match is, and how much they enjoy the match. The WWE fans care more about the overall product, meaning not only who wins the match, if it's good or not (but not to the extent of indy nitpicking), but also the general overall entertainment value of the show.

So yeah, I'd say a lot of indy fans care about the quality of the match, not the outcome, where most WWE fans care about the overall quality. An indy fan is more likely to pick out a match that sucked, or an interview segment that ran too long. Whereas a WWE fan is more likely to pick out a more technical match as not being exciting.

With that said though, I will say that the IWC WWE fans care a lot more about outcomes than IWC indy fans. I generally don't see the extreme bitching about guys on the indy scene when they lose like I do when Christian lost, or Cena wins.

Lol did he wear a Hayabusa mask to class?

Back to the other topic, you have to remember there's a TON of little kids in the audience now that you'd have to account for. It's pretty much why Hornswoggle still has a job. I think they were happier when Orton won, plus from what I've read, more women watch WWE now than ever before and they LOVE Orton. Those two groups don't really care about match quality. They just want to see Orton, Cena win and the Miz lose. Can't really fault them, because I LOVED Hogan when I was a little kid and my favourite match was Hogan pinning Andre and the match quality sucked.

None of that is actually trolling.

Trolling = Intentional Logical Fallacies
Being a Dick = Being a Dick.

On the bright side, the center of the DVD is just the right size, so a few of them might even get lucky.
