I do hope they can somehow use this in a storyline, maybe not showing the actual footage on-air, but they could definitely reference it, maybe it was Jericho's way of dodging Orton or something silly.

Normally suspensions are given for wellness violations, and never get mentioned on-air. This is entirely different and could be a huge asset to a storyline.

Yeah I didn't know that either(about his 2nd stinit). It had some good parts though. His last run overall hasn't been great. At best it's been ok.

I think this is legit. I def think the Flag thing in Brazil is a shoot if anything I question the suspension a little.

I'm saying 80% it's a all a shoot.

Just a reminder- WWE has teased the burning of an American flag, and (if my memory serves me well, so we're talking a 50/50 shot here) even had people fly the American flag upside down. Just saying that some fans are pussies.

Are you serious right now? The flag of any country is a symbol of what that county has gone through. This is honestly the same thing as saying "People are mad because someone bashed a giant cross with Jesus on it to pieces."

Maybe you don't get the meaning on a flag and the tradation it holds. But as a former military personnel who did his tour in the Middle East; you are insane and need to learn a little bit about the history of your country.

I just can't trust that it is a work because of the lvl of seriousness. At the end of the day he did disrespect the flag. And it is a crime. And he did apologize like he would have suppose to and he did get suspended like would have suppose to. He still has time b4 the tour and he just started a fight with Orton. And Orton has built a name for retaliation lately.

The general consensus seems to be "No matter what you think is important, someone else will make fun of you because it's stupid."

I understand it may have meaning to people. That's fine. It's only an issue when someone else does an action towards that symbol and you go apeshit. It's a flag. They're a mass produced product. One was kicked. Symbolism. Same with a cross. There should be no symbol that can anyone can do to anything no matter the meaning behind it that should remotely cause any kind of negative reaction like this when someone else is deemed as disrespecting it. I cannot believe some people think this is a work. Yeah, the WWE might try and do something with this now that it's happened, but it is clearly not a work.

Also, I agree entirely with Fignuts on the whole issue of not doing that shit to the Brazil flag. I, personally, don't put much stock in flags, because I see them as a symbol, as wwf-fan does. But I would not go to another person's house, tell them that their beliefs are stupid and assume I can do whatever I want with their most sacred symbols.

That being said, Jericho probably had no clue, made a mistake in the moment, and he's seemed rather proper about how to handle the thing post-event. I wonder if the WWE have scouted out some Brazilian wrestling talent to go after Chris Jericho when he gets back from his holiday, though. That would do some hot business in Brazil.
