Awesome PPV.

Prior to Destination X, I mentioned how TNA PPV's always look great on paper, but then I never feel truly satisfied after the event. This event delivered though. Some great matches from top to bottom, barring the Ultimate X match which I thought was a bit crap, loved the Ultimate X qualifiers, Angle/Joe was really good and Daniels/AJ was good, not their best, but certainly makes up for their Bound For Glory atrocity a while back, and Aries/Roode which was a great match.

See? With no Hogan, Flair, Sting (sadly), Bischoffs or any other nonsense like that, TNA can put on some pretty spectacular shows. My only real gripe, as always with TNA, was the announcing, which just never seems as exciting as in WWE.

Best TNA Pay-Per-View in a long time (at least, since Lockdown 2011).

I don't know, he has an interesting look and has some pretty good in NWA Hollywood (his name was Johnny Yuma) I would say the most dissapointing guys were Flip Cassanova and Dakota Darsow. Dakota is trying to wrestle like his dad, but he's too small to do that. He's not big enough to be a heavyweight but he's not fast/ agile enough to be a X Division wrestler. As for Flip, he seemed really sloppy in the ring. He landed akwardly on Darsow in his first match acouple of times, then he headscissored him into the ropes which could have really hurt him.

I have a feeling Roode's going to regain the title sooner than later.

I don't agree with that. I think that TNA has been giving a very effective push to Austin Aries in the past few weeks. It would be a waste to simply have Roode regain so soon without much fanfare, and TNA is too smart a company to do that.

I kind of feel that it would have been awesome if Kid Kash had attacked Mason Andrews during the Ultimate X and taken him out of the equation. Kash's motivation would have been that he was embarrassed by losing to a new face -- and his goal would be to make Andrews pay. That would be a pretty decent X-Division feud away from the title.

That sounds good on paper and Mason (Scorpio Sky) is avery talented wrestler. For some reason, I think Kash deserves better than just putting over every new X Division star. I'd like to see Kash get a TV title run or even a tag team push with Gunner or that Mark Haskins guy if he's still around.

Just what wrestling needs: another failed ROH vanilla midget to drag down the ratings of another company.

I would take wrestling now over wrestling five or six years ago.

But it's pretty bad, with a handful of exceptions.

I know you're only trolling, but a while back you were saying that Austin Aries is fantastic, if only it weren't for his size.

Aries going over Bobby Roode again, Kurt Angle, Jeff Hardy, AJ Styles and Samoa Joe should take us right through until the end of 2012. I'm hoping they stretch out Aries' reign until Magnus takes the belt the next time TNA is in England. I think that will be early 2013, won't it? If the WWE hasn't put the World Title on Wade Barrett by then, Magnus can claim to be the first British World Champion and become another home-grown "star" for TNA.
