To elaborate: They were originally just members of the Heenan family, however, they formed a team and had a team name, hence, they became a tag team. Eventually Heenan would abandon Andre and Andre turned, ending the team.

I agree. Teams that were solely brought together for storyline purposes won't be included. Even though some of them have team names, like Jerishow, Rated RKO, Two Man Power Trip, Dudes with Attitude and so on.

This would definitely be an exception that doesn't abide by my rules. They were stablemates who teamed. At the start of the career they did have the trenchcoats and similar tight styles, but as they moved on the styles changed. The eventually looked nothing alike gear wise. Their wiki technically refers to them as E&C but even I don't recall that EVER being their team name.

But really, that's what I meant earlier by "rules" being kinda silly since it really just comes down to a feeling. I don't know exactly why Edge and Christian are a legit tag team. I could dissect it but it surely wouldn't come down to something so simple as fitting under two or three guidelines.
