Honestly man, If you're not black, and you don't know what it feels liked to be called that by someone who legitimately hates you, respectfully you're not in any sort of position to qualify to talk about the usage of the n-word or to compare it to other words. No, the n-word is not comparable to "cracker" at all because the history behind the words are EXTREMELY different. Clearly Shisen and Gertner are just trolling. This isn't "PC bullshit" or whatever. After reading the transcript of what Hogan said, I'm really disappointed man.

It wouldn't bother me as much if he said it in passing as an attempt to ingratiate himself with another black guy, because I wouldn't know their relationship. What I take issue with is that he said "f*cking n*gger" not once, but twice. I'm really confused man, I really liked Hulk Hogan.

Despite my idiocy on these forum I have always been one of those people that you walk by without noticing, don't miss until hours after they leave a party... who before ZI was married the type of person you wouldn't know died in their apt until it started to smell. With the exception of a few coworkers just about every single Non internet interaction with any Black Male since I have come to the united states has been bad and a few have been downright frightening.. and why do I feel it was because I passed for white? Because they fucking told me so. So don't you fucking sit there and tell someone you haVE NEVER ment that they have no clue, because you know what? Some of us fucking do and there are problably plenty of us outhere who never had a problem until one was made. Now I don't honestly believe that every Black man on the street I pass hates my ass but you kbnow what? Why chance it? Hate breeds hate my man and Black Americans are just as responcible for what as going on in this country then anyone else. It is time to own up to rather then blaming whitey

"He decided to resign from WWE because he didn't want to put them or his family through this," Houston told PEOPLE.

WWE, however, maintains that Hogan was fired: "WWE terminated its contract with Terry Bollea (a.k.a. Hulk Hogan). WWE is committed to embracing and celebrating individuals from all backgrounds as demonstrated by the diversity of our employees, performers and fans worldwide."

Hogan told PEOPLE he will use the situation to "improve as a person" and that he takes the matter as an "important learning experience."

A transcript of the audio shows the wrestler repeatedly using the n-word in reference to his daughter Brooke Hogan's dating life.

Hogan was already enmeshed in legal drama when news of the transcript leaked. The Florida trial for his high-profile lawsuit against gossip site Gawker was recently delayed until at least the fall. The star's legal team filed a $100 million lawsuit against the site after its 2012 posting of video from a sex tape, made in 2008, featuring Hogan. The video was later removed from the site.

To answer your previous post, I would actually think it would be Austin or Rock now. Rock with the edge being more universal as far as crossover, but Austin was the surge when they needed it to survive and ultimately win.

Since Austin was there first with popularity, I'd have to say Austin if its still not Hogan.

No. That's not what I said. I said the terms are not comparable, and they aren't, because the history of the words are different. Just because two terms are the respective derogatory terms for a race doesn't mean they have the same history, and are on the same tier, because they aren't.

My point was, if you're not black, you're not in a position to discuss the usage of the N-word from an educated perspective because you don't know how that legit feels. Sure, you can feel like you have comparable experiences. But it's different. If you don't live that, and you don't deal with it on a daily basis, it's not something you can wrap your brain around. You can sympathize. But you won't be able to empathize, and I'm not saying that's a bad thing. You may have had some hard times in your life, and that sucks for real.

You made my point when you defined the words. "Contemptuous" is downplaying the word immensely. If you weren't raped, torn from your families because the mom, dad, sister, brother etc were sold to someone else, casually thrown overboard a ship because the ship got too heavy, killed for trying to escape, whipped, etc while being called "cracker" then you can't compare the words. And hell "cracker" was coined because of whip cracker, you know, when they were in the position to own land and people.

One word was coined for the ones being oppressed, and the other was coined for the oppressors. That's as clear as I can be. My point was referring to the word usage. I never brought up distrust or angst towards "whitey," you did that.
