Dunno. Looks like a lot of the movie is eddie brock, and only the last portion as full on Venom. That's the impression I got anyway.

On YouTube you can't skip until five seconds in (for most ads). So what many trailers do now is fit five seconds of a 'complete' trailer in there so even if you skipped you get the picture. Lots of companies found cute use of the fact people skip the moment they can.

For the kids with no attention span who can't wait the 60 seconds into the trailer to figure out what movie it is or god forbid waiting until the end.

It's annoying af. They do it on the radio too sometimes where they play the hook or chorus of a song for 5 seconds before playing the actual song.

It's always good to cast Hardy in a movie but if they used someone unknown we would surely get more Venom than Hardy's face.

Reviews are in and they're not good at all. Though Tom Hardy gets praised, seems like they didn't know what tone or story direction to settle on.

Tom Hardy is good in pretty much everything I've seen him in. Fucking loved him in Warrior. Was also really good in The Drop with James Gandolfini.

I have a cousin that operates the cinema here. He has to prescreen every movie to make sure there isnt an error with copy. I was told "dont even watch it for free" which makes me want to have some beer and watch it.

But on netflix when im not contributing to its financials.

I love the way the character looks, and had moderate hope are the first trailer. Seeing the 2nd one where he goes on that long diatribe before eating the bad guy in the liquor store painted the picture that it was going to awful. Or at least not good.
