Yeah the halftime show did suck.

The Eagles put up one helluva effort tonight, people saying that the Pats dominated or were "undoubtedly the better team" are just morons.

I don't think Paul was actually playing, but it wasn't what I would call a bad quality halftime show. It's just that when you are watching the Super Bowl you don't really want to see a 70 year old playing old Beatles songs, I would prefer something more upbeat and modern, like Justin Timberlake..It wasn't a poor performance or a corny theme or anything like that though.

Boring 1st half but the 2nd half was awesome. You can tell that McNabb was nervous and was not used to the pressure. TO played extremely well for a guy with a fucked up ankle. Pats deserved to win.

On a side note, I won 20 bucks in poker

Really the ideal halftime show would be to have Motley Crue out there like old times, put Tommy Lee in a cage and have him float around the stadium.

Every year they do a madden challenge 1 player from each team and they play each other, for the 2001 and 2003 SB Troy Brown played for the pats and won both times and aparently every year they do it, whoever wins that game has won the superbowl. This year Eugene Wilson got destroyed.

How about the superstious Belicheck going to the wrong bench to start the game.

Was a great game, McNabb had a horrible game, trying to force throws and just bad throws in general.

WTF at the clock managment at the end? Walking up to the line, throwing the 2yd pass to westbrook, horrible clock management and they asked Reid about it after the game and he was just like "well, we tried to go quickly".

Yeah I was at my grandmother's house and when the Pats picked it off with like 7 and a half minutes left we decided to head home. Heard the Eagles weren't too smart with the clock. Dunno.

Anyways, Patriots won so I'm happy.

I sat there telling everyone that the eagles could still do it with 2 min on the clock....then they scored the touchdown and I was like here it comes.....then they miss the onside.....then they get it back and its just baby pass after baby pass and IM thinking what the hell?

GREATEST SHOW ON TURF SIR

My thoughts:

Funniest commercials ever

Best halftime show ever

Gutsiest peformance ever by TO (well, maybe second behind Lambert)

Biggest turnaround for me from hating TO to rooting for him

And last but not least, biggest trashtalker ever to Harrison. Notice how pissed he got when TO wouldn't acknowledge him talking? Good stuff.

Good game though. IMO, they should have went to TO more, even with him being 80-85% he shredded Gay and anyone on him. If they would have gotten him the ball more, good things would have happened. I also didn't understand the clock management, or even the onside kick.

But, that's all in hindsight. A good game though, just tired of seeing the Pats.

Sean Salisbury has to be by far the biggest dipshit ever. He and Irving were doing their little broadcast thign and Salisbury goes "I'm going out on a limb the Patriots are a better dynasty then the Cowboys because they prooved they could win the close games" Irving is liek he said "Who needs to win the big games when we blew people out" What does winning close games make a team better than blowing teams out? I hate Salisbury

The Philly recievers definately stepped it up a notch. McNabb had so many bad throws that they managed to bring in. The one down the middle where Pinkston had to completely lay out to catch that high ball for example. He is damn lucky, it could have been a lot worse then it already was.

The Eagles only went up against the 3-4 one other time this year.. Against the Steelrs and we got whooped. So that is another reason why our O-Line was just sucking.

Justin Timberlake? You like that kind of popish dance/lip sinking crap for 15 year old girls?

Speaking of St. Louis, who won the 87 World Series?

This comment was made fully aware that Dave Wadding is not from St. Louis

Loose Cannon, I just mean that at the Super Bowl I would rather see something more upbeat and more of a show then Paul McCartney singing "Hey Jude" at a piano. Acts like Justin Timberlake just seem to fit the event better. And he's not that bad either, he was the next King of Pop until last years Super Bowl, then he floated into oblivion, which is why I said they should bring the Crue back.

I do not see how anyone could rather see Justin Timberlake perform than Paul McCartney.
