Those 16 wins were against New Orleans, Orlando, Chicago, Utah, Indiana twice (no Jermaine O'neal), Charlotte, LA Clippers, New York twice, Cleveland and Philli. Add two wins against Boston and one against Washington at the end of the season.
Its called strength in schedule. |

I'm not sure where you're going with this: even if you say that the Nets aren't a good team, are you really trying to say the Heat are going to have troubles in Round 2 with either the Wiz or the Bulls? Are you saying the Heat aren't a good team? I'm not sure what you're actual point is.
Are you going to be one of those idiots who waits until the Heat lose to the Pistons in the Eastern Conference Finals or to whoever comes out of the West and then pipes up?: "SEE!! I TOLD YOU THE HEAT SUX!!!" Being one of the final four teams in the NBA does not make your season a failure. |

You said that the Heat bench had a great game in the second game, I said this proves nothing since they were playing New Jersey. Since the Nets suck, the bench of the Heat is going to look alot better than it really is.
I never said that the Heat are bad, I said that you shouldn't be calling their bench good based on one game especially against a bad team. And just because I don't like their bench doesn't mean I don't like the team. They'll make it to the Eastern finals and lose to Detroit. On an unrelated note, that will still be considered a failure since the second they brought in Shaq they became a team that should make it to the finals. |

I cant believe i picked the Nets over the Heat.
Also , I'm telling you. If Indiana makes it past Boston. They match up really good with Detroit, but we'll definetly need Jermaine O'Neal for that series. IF we get past Boston. Boston's lineup gives us fits. I'm not saying the Suns are a bad team. Infact they are great, but some of those teams in the west would scare me if i played the Suns style of basketball. Specifically Memphis and Seattle. Cause both of those teams are well coached and can run with the Suns. I doubt Phoenix will match up with Seattle cause that would be a pretty improbable West Finals matchup, but if they did. I wouldnt be shocked at all if Seattle won. Remember how hot Seattle was in the first half of the season? If they play like that... They can beat the Suns. I also dont by this hype about Houston all of a sudden. I did pick Houston vs Indiana in the prediction thread but comon. Houston is beating up on a Dallas team that isnt playing any defense whatsoever ( which is shocking cause they were playing great defense ). Nowitski is no where to be found. Phoenix could make it a 5 game series against Houston. |

You never want to call it too early, but lol @ people picking Washington over the Bulls. They may get the crap kicked out of them by Miami, but still, from such a shit start they're pretty good.

Nobody said the Bulls were bad. They're just missing tow of their best players including their leading scorer. I'm surprised at how resilient they are for such a young team.

Man, I hate how they space out the games now.
Second year they space it out so much and its still gay. I want to see a Houston/Phoenix matchup. That seris is probably going to steal the playoff highlights. HURRRRRRRRY |

O'Neal needs to grow up too though, obviously people are going to attack him like with a bum shoulder.
They both attacked dumb but whatever. I'm not an O'Neal fan at all. I remember a few years back he did work againest the Celts in game 1 - Might have only been the 1st half too. I think he had like 25 points in the 1st alf. Got all cocky and shit. Like "show boating" and what not. Then didn't do shit the rest of the way. |

![]() I cant believe i'm bout to start this shit with you again. I battled you in the Colts/ Pats matchup and now Pacers / Boston.... First of all. Out of everyteam in the East, the Celtics give us the toughest matchup problems.. Indiana cannot stop slashing backdoor attack the basket style of basketball. For some reason the Celtics have totally went away from this type of basketball. I'm not sure if its Indiana just absolutely controlling the tempo or Boston just isnt doing what they did in Game 1. Maybe a little of both, but i do know one thing; Doc Rivers is a great coach and Danny Ainge knew what he was doing building this team. This will probably go 6 . Possibly 7. I'm taking Indy of course. Boston has no one to guard Reggie Miller if he's playing his best 39 year old game. He's played that game back to back now. Boston has a problem. I'll be the first to admit. Jermaine whines sometimes and definetly loses his cool every once in a while. Especially this season, But Antoine Walker is a absolute punk bitch. Going after other players injuries is weak shit! Theres a difference between playing a guy a little rougher cause he's a little gimp in a limb or something, but the two Antoine Walker fouls were bull shit. The rest of Boston played O'neal hard and rough but not over accesive. Hear me out here. The first foul by Walker at first glance, looked like they got tangled up, but when replayed.... It looked like he got under his arm and tried to jerk that shoulder out. The second foul honestly would not have been a big problem if he hadnt blatently thrown his shoulder/arm in the direction of O'neals shoulder. If he was closer he may have connected and if he connected.... O'neal should have and would have knocked him the fuck out! YOU DONT FUCK with a 123 million dollar shoulder . Thats fucking weak. Thats why O'neal shoved him. O'neal might be fined for the shove or something , but Walker should get a heavy fine for his actions and though i dont care either way and i hope this dont happen, i think he will probably get suspending for throwing that ref out of the way. |

It doesn't really matter what any team does, because Detroit is gonna take it again. Detroit/San Antonio in the finals for sure. The two best teams in the league. Miami will lose to Detroit in 7, and San Antonio won't have problems until they get to Detroit. Enough said.

Yeah I remember the Nuggets from last season in the playoff too. They didn't give any respect to KG or the rest of the Wolves. KG worked his ass off and was far and away the best player in the league, playing with more heart then just about any NBA player, but they gave him no respect. They are just thugs, all of them. They don't have Jon Barry and Chris Anderson anymore, but they were leaders last year, like the hard foul on Wally that nearly broke his back. I hate the Nuggets ever since.

That's not happening. Sheed was huge in the OT. Too bad. If the Sixers won today the series probably goes seven, and who knows what happens in a Game 7 with AI involved.

Celtics played like perfect the other night - Hopefully they can continue to do that. I can't stand the Pacers at all. I'm not expecting much from the C's this year but hopefully they can just get out of the 1st round.
I like Reggie Miller and all but they aren't winning it all so what better team then the Celtics to end his career ![]() |
