Yeah just realized that the playcalling system for 360 is actually way better because you can bluff a play. You can pick your actual play with X and then move the cursor to another play and act like you chose that one. Pretty hot.

Only bitch I have about the 360 is the lack of owner mode.

It bugs me enough that I'll prolly pick another copy up for regular Xbox or PS2. Got the HoF version for 360, so THAT'S worth it, but I really want owner mode/fantasy draft.

lol you couldn't do that in Madden last year? I know for NCAA '06 if you went down to the next 3 boxes of plays you could hit like R1+Whatever and really pick the play above the one your cursor is on

Yeah that feature was in like Madden 98, I used to go to goal line offense and only show runnning plays, but do that little trick to get the one goal line playaction. Totally baffled my opponentd at the time. But yeah, not a new feature at all

On play.com it says the PS2 version features online play, but then I went over to game.co.uk and it says nothing about online. Also by looking at the box art there is no 'Net Play' logo on there. So I dunno. Probably go into town later and have a look.

The atmosphere is still horrible as usual, as is the presentation. Especially on 360 with the horrible announcer.

It doesn't feel like you are playing a "real game" at all. Also the crowd reactions are awful and always completely off. Like if you win a coach's challenge or something, the crowd cheers like 10 seconds later. I bet sometimes it doesn't even cheer.

I don't knwo if it was like this in last year's (due to not playing it), but the whole "holding circle then using the dpad" to select defensive players prior to the snap is so hot. I love the game already

Wow, these fucks couldn't even be bothered to bug test this thing properly. The whole 'QB randomly launches the ball 50 yards backwards' when you let the CPU control in Superstar mode (I'm hearing it was like this in the Head Coach game too) is fucking retarded.

I'm liking the game but Superstar mode is a pain in the ass thus far. I'm a MLB (got rated 90 OVR thanks to my dad) and I end up on the fucking Texans. I can barely make any plays because the tackling is beyond horrid. Your choices are either hit stick or dive...no normal tackling at all

Also, because the Texans blow, I have like no influence points because the other guys on D keep fucking up.

Anyone know how to get longer than 5 minute quarters in Franchise mode on the 360? I can't seem to find anywhere where I can change it.

Wow, at least for the Playstation 2 version, the graphics have not changed at all from Madden 2005. The playbooks for the most part are exactly the same, too.

I really enjoy how you can control the offensive line and all that. Can you do this on defense too?

I also really enjoy that Superstar mode thing as well. I didn't buy 2006, so I don't know how many changes have been made to that.

Overall the game is pretty enjoyable. But I don't know if it's worth fifty plus dollars to buy a game just for a few roster changes and a new feature or two.

Started a superstar mode. I am a QB and got drafted to the Cowboys. 12/20 for 159 yds and 1 TD in my first game. NOT BAD. I got sacked like 12 times though. Mad hard with the view. Gotta get used to it. Everytime you get sacked you lose like 27 influence points too.

I got it on Saturday for the PS2. Still no online play Pretty cool game though, just started my Franchise. Won my first game with the Jets against the Titans 48-24 LOL. A bit too similar to last year for my liking, but I still love it.

Holy shit.

After a few games of Madden 07 on 360, I must say EA Sports honestly gave me the 'Kiss Our Ass' gesture of the season. Madden 07 plays so smooth this year it's almost a shock. Dare I say I had more fun experimenting Run Plays than NFL 2K5; which I'm sorry to say, isn't my footbal game of choice anymore.

The Run Game. It'll either make you happy or get you excited. How they put momentum into play for how it works is great. No more heat-seeking tackles, you must connect for the hits. The Bucc's Williams is that much more dangerous, watch out. And controlling your blocker works much better than it sounds on paper. My God, I'm trying to remember the names and numbers of blockers now.

Passing is just right since they kinda merged the mathmatical QB Vision with oldschool mechanix. Now I can use it when I want during play. So if I think Galloway is gonna smoke some cat; I can put cheese on it by 'looking' his way 06 style. If I'm not so sure he'll go all the way, I won't use the Vision, and the penalties won't kill me. I like it. Hot Routes still aren't as slick as 2K5's system was, but it's organized.

I like the game. It's not a testament of 360's power (07 could've been done on current gen, engine and all), but the controller works well with it.

Worth. $60. Bones.

Played Fight Night as well. It's okay.

The recievers get mad open in Superstar mode, makes up for the shitty view. 19-22 341 yards in my first superstar mode game. 2 bombs to Derrick Mason

But I forgot I didnt have any room left on my memory card, so it got wiped out. oh well
