I delivered a bulk stop to EB last week, 68 packages. The guy there said they were boxes of Halo 3. 600 copies. All fucking pre orders. All sold. People are crazy for this game.

Gotta be honest. I got terribly bored of the first Halo pretty fast. Beat the first 3 levels and have almost no desire to continue on.

Halo isn't popular because of the single player. Halo is popular because of its multiplayer, as well as its easy to use matchmaking system. Halo 1 was tits because of Halo parties. That was how it got started. Halo 2 was pretty shitty compared to 1, but they had a great matchmaking system that made it easy to jump into. I have faith that Halo 3 will bring back the intense feeling that matches in Halo 1 gave.

Anybody got their copy yet? There are a bunch of stores that are breaking the release date just like they did with Bioshock. There's a list somewhere with cities/stores doing it. Need to check to see if anything around here is.

My store had done over 1200 reserves before I left the company 3 months ago. It was unreal. It broke down to like 300 legendary, 600 collectors and 400 regular.

I still don't understand the huge deal with the Halo games. Not bad games by any means, but is this kind of hype really necessary? Like wow. I'd rather play Rainbow Six: Vegas than Halo 3.

I read that the scratches were only on the DVD bonus disc....but that really doesnt matter I guess...If I fork over the extra cash just to have that bonus disc then this would piss me off...

That's because the game was leaked early online and there were a lot of places breaking the release date. Major Nelson even said that they won't be banning accounts that were already playing.

Just picked up my copy...now have to wait about a month to play it...

Ive been reading the reviews and a bunch have said that its a really really good game but it just doesnt live up to the hype...

My reaction to this is the same reaction Adam Sessler gave to it on G4tv...

There was no way this game COULD have lived up to the hype. They could of packaged golden bricks along with the game and people would still be atleast a little disapointed.

Im just hoping that its as fun as Ive been reading. I cant wait to play that huge ass online map ive been hearing about.

About done with the campaign through co-op and it's not bad. I would say the worst part about the game is the graphics because it's not much of a step up from Halo 2. Pretty disappointing in that aspect. I've ran through 2 multiplayer maps in Forge mode and didn't really like either.

I will have to give them more of a shot but looks like it might be pretty easy for me to go to Call of Duty 4 when that comes out.

Well, I'm liking this game much more than I liked 2. Playing co-op I guys kinda does it.

How do I go to radar off games in multi-player? That bugger is annoying.
