I was wondering if villains were going to be included.

I'd like to see The Joker in the game. I'm not too knowledgeable of DC Comics, so I'm not too familiar with a lot of the heroes other than Superman and Batman.

If you click on Sub Zero's eye on http://worldscollide.com then you get a page of 16 question marks. I assume thats all the beginning playable characters. I assume there will be 8 MK and 8 DC.

So far on the MK side we have

Scorpion
Sub-Zero
Sonya Blade
Shang Tsung
Liu Kang

On the DC side we have

Batman
Superman
Flash
Catwoman
Captain Marvel



So lets try and figure out who the remaining six characters could be.

I dont have a ton of knowledge on the DC side of things, but I would assume that the Green Lantern, a superman villain like Doomsday would make it or even Wonder Woman. Or maybe an important or popular villain in the DC universe that Im not thinking of.

On the MK side of things, I see there being at least two more villains because as of right now there is really only one in Shang Tsung. Scorpion could be considered one if they were stretching it. The MK characters I see them using are from a list that follows:

Johnny Cage
Kitana
one of the robots
Barakka or Kano

Raiden is a given.

I was thinking Cage as well. It seems like they're sticking with the foundational Characters of the MK series, so I don't think we'll see any of the robots. If we do, I'd put my bet on Cyrax.

I think we'll possible see Kung Lao or Jax as well, although I think Goro would be a pretty cool fighter to throw in the mix.

Raiden would make a good counter-point to Captain Marvel. The Huntress would be cool. Cage will be in, if anything but to face up with a possible Booster Gold. Green Arrow's trick arrows are right up MK's silly-moves alley. And there will be a problem if the one DC character who most fits with MK's mythology isn't in there; Ras Al Ghul.

Well I dont think there will be anyone else that are Batman villains like joker or Ras because there is already Catwoman. I forgot about Raiden, and he might work because he is essentially a villain right now.

All I know is that they need to put more villains on the DC side because the villains can do fatalities while the heros on the DC side can only do brutalities. Or something along those lines.

I dont think theyre going to make players like Shao Kahn and Goro playable from the get-go because they are bosses and are probably involved in the climax of the story. This isnt a trilogy or Armageddon game. They are probably not going to have these characters in the game. But I could be wrong.

If they are sticking with the classic MK characters in this game then we will probably see Kano and Cage in the mix for sure. The only thing that I think that they might not want to use Kano is with the laser eye that will have to be the exact same as Superman's but thats probably not a bigdeal.

I think it's cool that Superman can freeze via breath. Watching that movie, Kabal would have been a good counterpart for The Flash, since they can both run super fast and whatnot.

My guess is that Doomsday is going to end up being the Goro-type monster boss this time around. Either him or Darkseid.

Also, I'm rather disappointed that Green Lantern hasn't shown up yet. Seems like he'd have all sorts of crazy stuff you could use in a fighting game.
