I think it said you can transfer them from the disc to your hard drive, then use them in Rock Band 2.

So seeing as how this game is gonna need a lot of hard drive space probably, I'm thinking of upsizing my 20gig. But is there even a way to transfer stuff from my old hard drive to a new one?

This is probably answered on page2, but the 120 GB HDD comes with a disc and transfer cable. It's a one way deal, and supposed to be one time as well, but at least you're not left jerking off.

By the way, with 81 songs plus save files and the like, I'm using 2.6 GB on Rock Band. Granted, a little of that is stuff like characters for three different profiles (My buddy and my ex as well as me), and so on, but that's less than .1 GB for sure.

I hope you can transfer only the songs you want (No Brainpower, you motherfuckers!), but even if they do, I'm probably looking at another couple of GB, not counting new DLC. I am SO fucking glad I have a 120 GB HDD.

This is probably answered on page2, but the 120 GB HDD comes with a disc and transfer cable. It's a one way deal, and supposed to be one time as well, but at least you're not left jerking off.
When did this deal make itself available? I've had to do some cleaning on my HD to make room for more songs several times now.

Rockband site says that most or all tracks from the rockband cd will be exportable. But its done through a software key that you have to pay 5 dollars for. Software liscensing issues.

Which I have no problem with, but I'm sure someone here will be all"BLLLAAARARRRFGGGH they're whacko if they think i'm paying for that! blarrrrrrrrr!"

Also, have there been any pics of the new guitar?

Thats actually just an early prototype. Apparently, the final product has some sort of sun design on it.

Although I'm most interested in seeing the special fender version. Like the drums, there will be a premium controller, and its a mad tricked out guitar controller made from an actual fender stratacaster.
