So yeah, Genius just completely wrecked my shit. Shut down my offense completely and pretty much picked my defense apart the whole game.

good game with hbm2k. ive added everyone in the league but there are 3 people left who havent accepted. i am online on a regular basis weeknights and sporadically on weeeknds and pretty much only play madden now. i am aiming for a possible sunday night, anyone interested?

VEL that was me, and for what ever the reason I got the same message prompt. We weren't in a league game though, just a regular ranked. You have to set up the league games from the league menu.

So I played Dave for my first game. He got off to a good start, 14-0 but then I rattle off 17 unanswered. He scores a touchdown early in the 4th to make it 21-17.

So we're late in the 4th. 3rd down and like 7 and I drop back to pass, see the blitz, and start to scramble. For some reason my brain went into NCAA 09 mode where I thought I had a QB who could at least jog away from the D and not 42 speed Kurt Warner. But no, Kurt tries his hardest to avoid the rush but running about 2 steps and going down.

4th and 14. I'm in the spread and I send Edge in motion, he runs a slant route, catches it, but comes up a yard short.

So Dave had the ball with about 1:20 left. I have all my timeouts. I stop 2 runs and now it's 3rd down. Dave tries to be sneaky and calls a play action. This happened:









So now I got it back, good field position. 2nd down, Bunch formation, and here comes the most controversial call this year:








Touchdown. It was even reviewed by the booth but Ed Hochuli says it's good. And agree. Dave says his knee was down but what does he know?

Dave fails to come back, I win the ballgame.

Played my first match against a human period today, in preparation for actually playing my first League match. I feel like I'm gonna get so shafted because I'm playing with the Falcons. I would have loved to have heard the comments from the guy I was playing. Was missing ridiculous open passes because the game decided Matt Ryan throws really close to recievers but not to them, got a random muffed punt from Greg Jennings (which is actually what would really happen, I know) and a immediate interception pick six and random fumble against me as well. Still managed to win on the only play that really went my way: a 65 yard pass for a touchdown as time expired.

Ok so I just downed VEL 28-7. Big momentum changing play here (even though I threw a pick next play but it was still the key play):











I also beat CT Schuler and The Genius. I can't remember anything special about CTS' game but I remember The Genius had the game locked up but did something stupid and gave it to me.

I am 4-0. I'm 100% positive the "Super Bowl" will be between me and Trips. Also, Trips, I don't want to play our regular season game until it is the last one. Kinda like the Giants/Pats last year. Could be a big boost of confidence either way.


I'm also really rooting for Dave to get into the playoffs. He's been getting shit luck it seems. He gives up big plays at bad times.
