If HHH stays on Smackdown, and Cena stays too, I don't think they will feud. HHH wouldn't allow himself to be mixed up in a US Title feud.

Yeah, that Triple H pick was a major "HOLY SHIT!" moment; and I'm among those seeing a potential Triple H/John Cena feud. (I seriously doubt Cena will be moved to Raw.) An idea for this feud:

Triple H appears on SmackDown!, the dominant heel as ever, and Cena pays no attention to his presence, being occupied with the US Title. Down the road, Triple H either A) Wins the WWE title, or B) Simply asserts himself as the dominant force on SmackDown!, and his ego swells to its usual proportions. Enter John Cena. Cena claims that Triple H ought to be thankful for his status on SmackDown! He was already a has-been on Raw, getting beat by Benoit; on SD, he's a star again, and he has Cena to thank for it.

I don't know about the matches, but I'd love to see the promos between these two: Triple H in full "I am the alpha and omega!" mode, claiming that he has no one to thank for his success; Cena smugly (and humorously) reminding Trips that the Game was his pick - a very ironic "I know it, you know it, they know it, now quit denying it!" The crowd would eat up Cena in this situation, and he gets put over (hopefully) by a big heel - exactly what Cena needs to become a star.

Thoughts?
