That Q3 was crazy. Vettell on pole and Alonso pulls 2nd out of his arse from somewhere.

He's got like 9 laps of fuel in the car, he and Vettel are going to need massive leads over the Brawns before they come in.
I'm intrigued why the media seems to think the Mclaren's are in better shape when they've both qualified in the same positions they've been qualifying in the first 2 races.... |

The media just seem to think that if you slap a diffuser on, you're winning.
I just wish they would get their collective mouths off the McLaren/Hamilton cock |

so anyone betting this one?
These are the best odds out there based on genuine possible winners. R Barrichello 7/2 F Alonso 8/1 M Webber 8/1 J Trulli 14/1 |

5/2
I'm seriously thinking of going with Alonso, but having said that I might cover it with Vettel himself at 11/4 |

Might also have a sly £1 on Rosberg @ 25/1. would set my betting up for the rest of the season.
All it needs is a safety car and a good start / retirements. |

Vettel, Alonso and Webber are running a good 20kg lighter that the rest of the top 10, so they're going to have to pit quite early, I don't really see then gaining a significant enough lead to stay ahead. I think Button has a very good chance of making it 3 out of 3 as he should be able to do a long first stint and pit when the field has spread out.
25/1 on Rosberg is not a bad bet, quite tempting. |

I could see what Red Bull and Renault were doing, could have worked doing only a few laps on the supersofts then changing over. Now it's wet, that strategey is fucked.

I like Vettel, but firmly believe Sutil is unlucky. Yes, I know he twitched this time round, but how many saves others made, and the place it happened to him...
I feel Sutil, deserves a good run in a car. Piquet however is fucking shit. Sakamoto anyone? Closest thing we've had in years. Swap these two around and I bet Sutil delivers more points in the remaining races, than the 19₧ Piquet got last season. |

Renault employ Piquet to be slower than Alonso, which he is extremely good at.

Both the Toyota's are light, so they should get away off the line, but Trulli's concerned about his brakes. I think Vettel will be a good bet for back to back wins.

I
The BBC red button. So much fucking better coverage than fucking ITV. I preferred Mike Gascoyne to Eddie Jordan, but love the banter that goes on. Reps to Button, but happy to see Lewis coming back through. Gutted for Webber though. ...also, HAHA's go out to BMW and Ferrari. |

It's still early, but wouldn't complain. I have always enjoyed Button as a driver when he was with Williams and BAR / Honda / Brawn. Didn't care much for his Reno days, thought he was on his way out tbh, but I always routed for him.
2003 really made it for me, I thought he was amazing. His driving style is fluid and smooth and I think sometimes that can be rare, it's nice to see that difference. The only feeling here is that next year they may fall behind again as so many teams may look at this, write off this season especially BMW if they don't get on track within the next 5 races and do what Honda did and dedicate all to 2010. Manufacturers can do this, but private teams can't as they still need to please their backers. |

I personally don't like how confusing this is getting. With the u can have kers, but u can't cos u spend too much, and u can have moving wings, but u cant and u can have higher revs...
I thought they did a mandate a few years back to make F1 more simple to understand moving into new territories and keeping with obtaining new viewers and to simplify the championship. We'll see how it goes. But hopefully they'll thrash something out that just says "You have £40m max to use. Do what u want with it". |

if you talking about Brendon Hartley, i knew that, been all over the news. Im getting sick of hearing it over here actually. But it is good to see him get his licence. only 6 or so other kiwis have raced F1 so i would love to see him even race just one race.

Ferrari have just announced that they will not enter any team into the 2010 Championship if the budget cap rule remains.
Any team wishing to compete in the 2010 Chapionship must register themselves for it by May 29th. Balls in your court Mosely/Bernie. |

No, quite frankly I don`t watch it at all nowadays. I used to watch it with my dad when I was a kid, now I don`t find it interesting. It`s just all over the sport news here, hyped a lot because there`s a first driver from Poland in F1.

You know, I love F1, but don't understand the contant rule changes.
It all seemed to start with Schumacher and Ferrari dominating the championship, and people say it's getting boring because of it, however, isn't that the aim. To be the best and stay the best? The last few years has been okay, with different champions from different teams, but now I feel that we're going to get back to square one, especially if the budget caps come into effect. Only, the momentum will have swung in the direction of a smaller team, which is at the moment Brawn GP. Ferrari are the biggest F1 team in the world, and F1 without them, however much Mosely says it won't be affected, it WILL. Ferrari generate a lot of direct sales and sponsorship opportunities for FIA, purely by being in the championship year after year. Liken it to Manchester United....if they left the premier league, the PL would miss out on all the revenue generated by Asian fans of Manchester United. Not sure why they can't just leave it alone. |

You would have to assume that Ferrari leaving would have a negative impact on the sport.
