not having the newest movies really doesn't bother me at all. there's a ton of shit on there (streaming) that I've never seen before. could be totally random stuff or popular movies from the 80's/90''s/2000's I've never seen.

Maybe monthly? Although most movies stay on there a lot longer than that.

It's some kind of rotation, but there is usually a new batch of stuff at least once a month.

The thing about the new releases not being on there, I think is more about the companies wanting to control their own content as long as they can. Recently they started or are going to start giving currently in theaters movies on PPV channels/On Deman for like $30. But even on Netflix, a lot of movies have a month wait between release and being available on DVD. Obviously to sell as many as they can.

As I've said before, I think we may see a "Premium" Netflix in the future where you get this whole back catalog, but also you can pay a premium either per title or per month to see more current releases, just when they're released.

Either way we will eventually see them, whether on Netflix or somewhere else online. It's going to happen.

I have seen every episode of the Original Series. However, I have never seen any of Enterprise, only a few episodes of Voyager, and there's even some episodes of TNG I haven't seen.

This fucking price hike is annoying.

I like having the streaming and 1 disc DVD plan for 1 or 2 dollars more so I can get a dvd that's not streaming if I want to. For as little as I use the dvd's though, I'm not going to pay an extra 6 bucks a month for that.

I enjoy my 7 year grandfathered Blockbuster Online Plan - 3 Blu Rays out at a time for $20 and I get unlimited in store exchanges that I can use for games instead of movies if I want, though we've gone from 3 Blockbuster stores here to just one.

No streaming option, but my low cap on my internet pretty much prevents that anyway.

Id probably keep mine even if the stores closed since downgrading the plan to no instore returns would cost me more. Ive had the unlimited 3 out plan since 2004 and when it started it only cost $17.99. I was hit with 1 $2 price increase back in 2007, and then they didnt increase my price for Blu Ray or the Instore Return plans. The current 3 out unlimited instore return plan costs like $30 now for new customers. Blockbuster also doesnt have the 28 day waiting period for new releases but it often doesnt matter since the new releases are backed up too much to have much of a chance at getting them within the 28 day window anyway.

I know over the same period of time Netflix has raised prices on all customers just about every year...so the Blockbuster Online portion of Blockbuster is very nice. I probably can get 12-15 or so movies out a month. If the Red Box/Blockbuster Boxes around here were to ever get a decent selection of Blu Ray movies I might consider canceling but until then I stick with it.

My Blockbuster rates kept going up so we canceled it. There are also zero stores around me now. The one across the street from me closed a few months back. Fuck em

Gonna go streaming only. Saves me money I guess and will just download the shit they don't stream. Fuck em
