Its a good game. Its plays more like Halo 2 than 3, and Firefight is pretty damn fun.

I will likely be on this shit all day tomorrow. Will go through co-op campaign with someone if they're up for it. I'm not a hardcore shooter player, and I've had even less experience with halo, so I'll probably start on normal tho.

The only real difference I know of it between the others is that during certain rounds skulls become activated...like the ones you could use in the other games to make it harder.

I dont know if Halos is going to be any better but I know ill get a few kicks out of it for a while. I love Horde mode and Nazi Zombies so this should be good.

Anyone know if the achievements for finishing the story on Normal/Heroic/Legendary is an all-encompassing 100G achievement for finishing it at whichever difficulty (i.e., you finish on Normal, so it's considered beating the game on any level or whatever), or can you actually get 300G for finishing the story on each difficulty separately?

No, not that I would probably even mind, but it just seems ridiculous that you can only earn 1 achievement worht 100 points for finishing the game on whatever difficulty, as the potential for up to 300 points could have been earned if they had allowed all 3 levels of difficulty to not only be played, but also to be able to earn the requisite points for beating the game on Normal/Heroic/Legendary.

It adds more variety to the achievement list than simply "beat the game 3 times". Plus it would probably be boring for those like kalyx who are already skilled at legendary, to go through the game on easy and heroic.

Also, I don't suck at multiplayer halo. I do alright. I've played a few games now, and finished in 1st or 2nd in every one.

It's just the computer that kicks my ass. Well not really kicking my ass, but I'm nowhere near good enough yet to hit up heroic, let alone legendary.

Going through solo campaign on normal and I've died a few times already. Then again this game is definitely harder than halo 2, which was the last halo I played.

I like the game but the part of the story where you play as the rookie just feels like its one big as interactive loading screen.

Only other thing I dont like is no matchmaking for firefight.....i hate having to wait for a few friends to get online so I can play with other people on it.
