The amazing thing is that they are still on the hook for $10 million next year and half of his $10 million this year. When he left the Os a couple years ago for the money I was kinda upset but it just proves Closers are a dime a dozen and not worth huge contracts no matter how great they are.

Am I missing something with Tim Wakefield? I just saw a poll on ESPN about who the best pitcher in baseball was this season and the guys were Halladay, Lincecum, Greinke, Haren....and then Wakefield with 10% of the votes. Haren got 4%.

Doesn't even seem like he's close to being the best on his own team.
