It was a good game though since Spain really had to work hard for the goal.

2 of the three teams I root for are gone (USA, Portugal) so now left with rooting for Brazil or at least anyone not named Spain.

Question about the Japan-Paraguay game

How the hell does Paraguay win when the score ends up a 0-0 tie? So they flip a damn coin or something?


Edit: Saw the end of the game.

They should add a frickin point to the score to keep people who don't follow soccer from getting confused though.

They usually add a small p here beside the score to denote a penalty shoot-out winner.

Capello shouldn't be sacked, it would be yet another acquiescence to a spoilt bunch of dickhead players. The media have been putting the knife into him and the media are being put up to it by the players. Capello doesn't have friends in the media. Horrible 2nd half by Brazil but the Dutch played great when it mattered the most which is unusual since they normally collapse by the time they reach the playoff stage.

Netherlands vs Ghana or Uruguay is going to be a very entertaining match.

Africa's different though to S.America/Europe. I can understand their mindset. I do agree wiht you though about the commentators opinions on Ghana, one comment that did annoy me actually was when ghana played USA, the commentator said 'its men(US) v Boys(Ghana)' when Ghana looked more dominant and bigger than the US overall?

Fifa looking at extending the Suarez ban, be ridiculous if that happens. Have never heard of anyone serving an additional ban for unsporting conduct following a deliberate handball.
