lol Australia suck at everything. We have won 4 World Cups in the past 7 years, and win more gold medals per capita during the Olympics than any other country in the world.

A fair point, however I see nothing wrong with someone with both Australian and another ethnic background passionately following one of these teams BUT giving the other one the respect it deserves. He could've just waited 15 minutes then win or lose gone and snapped both Materazzi's legs. By doing what he did and getting sent off he let Materazzi win and he let his country down.

When El Hadji Douche spat in Arjan de Zeeuw's face he just walked away and said afterwards he wanted to smack him in the face but he knew getting the win for the team was more important than doing something stupid and getting himself sent off.
