O_o I was pulling for Golden State just because Monta Ellis grew up like ten minutes away from where I did and went to high school at a school we used to play in football, baseketball, etc.. I guees I'm down to the Pistons, who I pull for every year in the East anyway.. |

Pistons/Bulls was too much of a rollercoaster series. I expected Chicago to be match up well to start, but they didn't. Then after coming back from about 19 down in game 3, I expected Pistons to sweep. They don't, then have a chance at actually losing the whole series!
Well, we get Cleveland now. And even though my predictions have been wrong so far, I think it will likely go 6 games. Then Deetroit will be off to the finals. |

Duncan had 3 fouls in the last game.
Dont see how he "doesnt get called" on fouls. You do know CLEAN BLOCKS dont warrant fouls, right? |

I'd like to see Utah win, I guess. It'd be original. But probably won't happen. Another Spurs/Pistons series coming up.

Yeah, of the teams left I like Utah, Detroit, Cleveland and Spurs, in that order. I still really don't like the Cavs though, they just aren't fun to watch in my opinion.

Lebron James is a joke. So much for all that hype when he was in high school. Dudes scared to take a game winning shot.

Well, we didn't win by much, but Cleveland always seems to have their worst against Detroit in the playoffs. Last year's final game, the Cavs had their lowest point total. And now game 1 already, Lebron has his lowest points in a game. I still think Cleveland will keep it tight, since Pistons only won by 2, and likely will go at least 6 games.

Yeha what about Darko over Chris Bosh or Dwayne Wade?
He isn't perfect either. Still good though :meh: |

In realization though, Darko would have worked finally now because of the fact Ben Wallace left. We had always thought Ben would stay and that's why Darko seemed expendable at the time. That's why a lot of people were upset with the Ben leaving for Chicago move.

Gurantee you Dwayne Wade or Chirs Bosh would have worked more then Darko ever could have.
But who cares Detroit already won a title. |

I wonder how Larry Bird feels right now knowing that the team he traded our lottery pick to for Al Harrington got our 11th pick AND are also getting the 3rd pick.
Nice move Bird, trading away a potential future cornerstone for the franchise for a guy you didn't even keep half of the season. Time to hire Ron Jeremy (Stan Van Gundy) and look towards getting whoever the fuck will be the top pick next year (O.J. Mayo??). |

Kevin McHale still stands as the worst GM in the game. He traded expiring contracts awat in the Ricky Davis trade and is now left with this:
Mark Blount: 4 years left @ $6+ million Trenton Hassell: 4 years left @ $4+ million Mike James: 4 years left @ $5+ million Troy Hudson: 4 years left @ $6+ million Marko Jaric: 5 years left @ $6+ million Mark Madsen: 4 years left @ $2+ million Justin Reed: 3 years left @ $1+ million Those are all great trade assets, let me tell ya. |

And to clarify, once the Wolves draft Hibbert, none of the guys listed should be starting, barring maybe Trenton Hassell.

The NBA needs to decide what they want out of their playoffs. If they want to have teams like Golden State make a real run and actually have a chance at winning, they need to get rid of seven game series' in each round. If they want to keep seven game series' they might as well just slash four teams from each side because it is pretty obvious that none of the bottom seed teams matter.

What does it matter. That is the only time it has ever happened and Golden State had nothing in the second round. You might as well actuallly reward Dallas for working their ass off the whole year and throw out the first round. Dallas was easily one of the best teams in the league but working hard in the regular season hurt them. That's bullshit. Not to say that Golden State didn't match up well against then either, but that's beyond the point.
