It's a team sport. Labron didn't do it on his own. Labron just has better teammates now. Labron didn't obliterate any team on his own....except maybe the Cavs when he left.

All I'll say is that I agree with Charles Barkley when he said on Sunday night that no other superstar player in history has ever been asked to do everything that Lebron is expected to do every single night.

People expect him to be his team's leading scorer, people expect him to make all his free throws, people expect him to defend and stop the opposing team's superstar, people expect him to be clutch and take and hit all shots in the final moments of the game (if it's a game winner, even better) while, again, defending and stopping the other team's superstar in the final minutes.

Not even Jordan had all the pressure Lebron experiences every single game.

David Stern says the NBA is considering punishing flopping in the same way techs and certain fouls are reviewed and appealed after games. It won't be all flops but primarily those that end up having a real benefit or change the momentum of a game for the team that got away with it.

Probably won't really affect top stars like most of the other rules or else players like Wade would be getting a lot more fines and retroactive fouling outs.

He's the one who decided to have a fucking hour long show dedicated to himself. Jordan did need 6-8 years to earn the status as a mega star he eventually became unlike Lebron who was granted the title of "King" and the next Jordan before he even played a game in the NBA.

Wade won a ring before Lebron but even isn't at the same status as Lebron until last year when Lebron joined to form Miami's Big Three. He had maybe 1-2 years where he could be considered a mega star but then got pushed to the side around the time of the Cs forming their Big 3 and the focus of the dream Lebron vs Kobe Finals.

To be fair a lot of players were given the same treatment mostly due to the achievements Jordan did as a player and Stern himself pushed for the league to focus just on the top stars instead of teams after Jordan retired in 1998/99.

Frustrating watching OKC play defense now. Every 3 pointer by Miami seems wide open. It's tough because Lebron is a threat every time but he's a great passer too so they should just stay on their man.
