Interleague play itself should determine what team gets home-field advantage in the WS. The League that wins the most games gets HFA. The All-star game would be a tiebreaker and count ONLY if the records between AL and the NL are the same.

Would need to have balanced interleague schedules to make that work or be fair overall considering the NL has only managed to be better in interleague just 4 times since it started.

MLB is considering making it balanced once the Astros join the AL but it won't really have the same effect like the NFL who basically perfected it for their league.

From what I've heard, starting next season we may have what we now know as interleague games starting on Opening Day.

I'm all for two 15-team leagues, have the top 8 teams in each league make the playoffs, and have one MVP Award winner, similar to the NBA and NFL. It probably won't happen, of course.

I think Rizzo is, going to be Joey Votto status in three or four years. And right now, I think Votto is easily a top 5 player in the mlb right now.

Rizzo's numbers in the minors look way better than Votto's. Votto didn't hit for much power and a lot of people projected him to be a .280 20/20 type of hitter.

Can't believe Baseball America only has Rizzo ranked as the #47 prospect this year.

Speaking of minor leaguers, Billy Hamilton has swiped 16 bases in his last 6 games. He's now up to 91 stolen bases in 71 games.

Foul ball goes into the stands. Wise dives into the stands to try and catch it. He drops the ball, replay shows it rolls to a fan who picks it up and holds it up in the air, but the ump still ruled it a catch and the Indian player was out even though Wise didn't catch it lol. Ump didn't even look to see if he had a ball in his glove.

Nice comeback win by the Red Sox when it looked like the hitting was going to have a bad day overall. Dice-K has pitched pretty well in all except one of his starts.

Red Sox about to be just 1 game back from Tampa in 3rd place while 2.5 back from both the Angels and Os for Wild Card spots.

ESPN has the photo up on the supposed "catch" during the Yankees-Indians game with even ESPN saying that was an out.
